The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Tuesday, October 4 Recap – Ridge’s Sign To Be With Taylor – Hope Finds Shirtless Thomas

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 4, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) got a pinecone sign to be with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) while Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) found a shirtless Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) at the office.

At Forrester Creations, Thomas was sketching until he got distracted by Hope’s nearby photo.

When Ridge arrived, he revealed that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) lied to his face when he gave her a chance to come clean about the CPS call.

Thomas thought that was a new low, even for Brooke.

After Thomas asked how Ridge responded, Ridge admitted he didn’t say anything since he didn’t see the point.

Once Ridge decided he needed to go somewhere and think, Thomas watched him leave pensively.

At Brooke’s place, she pushed back her private cabana reservation over the phone.

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) came in and learned Hope was at the office, which meant she was spending time with Thomas.

Brooke didn’t think she’d ever be able to trust Thomas considering his history and warned that they couldn’t let him get to Hope more than he already had.

Once Ridge made it to the Forrester mansion, he went outside and tried to figure out why Brooke would do this.

Ridge asked himself what he was doing with his life and pondered the topic of true love.

“My destiny…what is that? What is my destiny?” Ridge wondered aloud on Tuesday’s B&B episode.

Ridge wasn’t sure he even knew what destiny meant anymore as he thought back on both Taylor and Brooke memories.

As remembered Brooke seemingly lying about the CPS call, Ridge scowled until a pinecone dropped on his head.

Once Ridge picked it up, he smiled like it was a sign that he should go to Taylor in Aspen.

After Thomas spilled coffee on his shirt, he was in the process of changing it when Hope entered.

Hope waited while Thomas finished dressing and got Thomas’ side of the story about the CPS visit.

Thomas insisted that Brooke freaked over him cutting an apple with a pocketknife, but he assured Hope that Douglas Forrester’s (Django Ferri) safety was his first priority.

Once Thomas pointed out that CPS showed up afterward, he let Hope know that Douglas was fine and took the whole thing in stride.

Hope wasn’t upset with Thomas and didn’t believe he would put his son in harm’s way.

That left Thomas amazed over how far they’d come, so he thanked Hope for letting them get to such a good place.

After Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) confirmed that Hope was in the CEO office with Thomas, Liam assumed the topic of the CPS visit would come up.

Brooke knew Thomas would downplay it, but the fact that somebody called in a complaint legitimized their concerns according to Liam.

Once Liam acknowledged that Thomas made things complicated for Ridge and Brooke, she admitted she had to be careful.

Brooke didn’t want to say anything that would blow up in her face and ruin their relationship.

On the jet to Aspen, Steffy mocked Brooke for acting like Ridge was her destiny when she couldn’t keep her eyes and lips off every other man.

Even so, Taylor was down in the dumps and didn’t think the life she wanted with Ridge was possible.

After the plane landed, Steffy caught up with Othello (Othello Clark), who helped unload the car that took them to Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) up-for-sale vacation home.

Othello said Bill told him to hook Steffy up and offer the VIP treatment, so she should just let him know if she needed anything.

Steffy was glad to see Othello again and thanked him repeatedly.

Once Steffy found Taylor moping inside the house, she assured her mom that when Brooke’s marriage came to an end, it would be her own doing.

As other B&B news rolls in, we’ll pass along updates. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge will be on his way to Aspen soon, so stay tuned!
