The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, October 5 Recap – Nick & Sally’s Hot Nightclub Date – Tucker’s New Diane Deal

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 5, teases that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will go on a hot nightclub date while Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) offers Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) a new deal.

At Newman Media, Nick will stop by to flirt with Sally briefly and praise her for the new research reports.

Soon after, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will express concern over Sally being caught between two brothers and will think she needs to figure out where things are headed with Nick.

At Crimson Lights, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will blast Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) since he heard from a very upset Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) about the Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) bombshell.

Chelsea will suggest Adam put business first when he got stuck in a meeting, but he’ll contend that should’ve been included in this.

That said, Adam won’t think it was even necessary to tell Johnny and Connor anything since they weren’t asking questions.

After Adam acts like this whole thing is Chelsea’s fault, he’ll urge her to stop calling herself Johnny’s mom since that’s Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) title. Nick will interrupt and assume the worst of Adam before Chelsea stomps off.

However, Nick will soften once Adam explains and will get why his brother is so worked up.

Adam will also bring up the topic of Sally and will admit he’s still in love with her.

After Adam asks if Nick thinks he’ll ever love Sally or if he can imagine a future with her, he’ll urge Nick to back off if the answer is no.

Adam will want the chance to work things out with Sally and give her everything she deserves, so he’ll push Nick to think about it.

Next on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, Nick will call Sally and extend a last-minute invitation to her.

While Adam sulks at Society’s bar, Chelsea will head back up to The Grand Phoenix rooftop and scream.

At the ranch, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will note that Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) team figured out the car Tucker gave Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) was the same make and model as the one Diane was spotted in.

That’ll leave Nikki and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) wondering if Tucker rekindled his romance with Diane in LA, though Phyllis will make it clear that Tucker can do better.

Of course, Phyllis and Nikki will know that Tucker is back for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) now, so they’ll consider that a piece of the puzzle.

Nikki will talk about Private Image Limited and a charity connected to it that financed young artists.

The main benefactor drew funds for that through a bank in Los Angeles – and the name of the fund was Wild Beauty Incorporated.

Since that’ll remind Phyllis and Nikki of the nickname John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) had for Ashley, they’ll assume Tucker was involved.

After Phyllis ponders how Tucker, Diane, Tucker’s Ashley obsession and broke British artists fit together, Nikki will get an idea.

Since Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) was an artist in London, Nikki will think he might’ve heard of the charity and could offer some clues.

Once Tucker hides Diane in the bathroom of his suite, he’ll let Victor in and face a grilling session about his agenda.

Tucker will claim he’s back to meet Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) and reconnect with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), but Victor will doubt it.

Nevertheless, Tucker will explain that he didn’t reach out right away because he’s grown apart from Devon over the years and wants to approach him respectfully.

After Tucker admits he also wants to make amends with Ashley, Victor will urge him to go back to where he came from since Ashley doesn’t need his BS.

Once Victor leaves, Diane will rant about Tucker playing with fire by goading his rival. Tucker will insist he hasn’t had this much fun in a long time, but Diane will warn that this isn’t a game to her.

Victor has the money and resources to figure out their connection, so Diane will argue that her life is hanging by a thread.

Tucker will act like Diane is being dramatic, but she’ll refuse to let Tucker blow the progress she’s made with Kyle and Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez).

Before Diane leaves, Tucker will stop her and offer another deal. If Diane will just tell Tucker when Ashley comes back from Paris, she’ll be off the hook.

Tucker will promise Diane her freedom and assure her that she won’t have to be his eyes and ears with the Abbotts anymore.

Once Victor returns to the ranch, Phyllis will take that as her cue to leave.

Victor will get updates from Nikki about Tucker and Diane’s connection, so he’ll hope they can kill two birds with one stone.

At Noah’s nightclub, he’ll enjoy the opening with Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) before Nick walks in alone. Noah will thank his dad for coming, even if he had to fly solo.

After Nick admits he’s expecting someone, Sally will join him and leave Noah stunned. Noah will admit to Allie that he really hopes this is work-related and will have concerns since Summer’s supposed to come.

Fortunately, Summer will text Noah that she’s decided to have a quiet night at home with Kyle, so Noah will be relieved.

Noah will dance with Allie before bumping into Audra Charles (Zulekya Silver), who’ll suggest it’s been a long time. As Noah recognizes Audra, he’ll look quite unsettled.

Back with Nick, he’ll flirt with Sally, who’ll talk about what happened with Summer being water under the bridge.

Nick will admit he loves Sally’s scent and will lean in closer to smell her neck.

Although Sally will be enjoying this night out with Nick, she’ll think they should talk about what’s going on between them.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick and Sally will have to figure out what the future’s going to look like, so stay tuned!
