The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, September 14, teases that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will face tricky temptation while Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) struggles with Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) plan.
B&B fans know Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is growing increasingly determined to reunite her parents.
Steffy believes Ridge belongs with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), so she’s doing everything in her power to push him back in her mom’s direction.
Of course, Steffy’s dealing with a bit of a challenge since Ridge still loves his current wife.
Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) has a tight grip on Ridge’s heart, but Steffy knows Taylor has a piece of that heart, too.
Steffy will continue to slam Brooke for letting her husband down and urge Ridge to see that she only brings him pain.
Taylor is the source of light that Steffy believes Ridge needs in his life.
It won’t be that simple for Ridge, but Steffy will keep pushing anyway.
Despite Ridge’s love for Brooke, he still carries a torch for Taylor as well – and the flames were fanned by that passionate kiss in Monaco.
Steffy will latch onto that powerful connection and urge Ridge to admit his true feelings to Taylor.
That should leave Ridge tempted to tell Taylor how torn he is, but he’ll also be wary of hurting her if he can’t walk away from Brooke.
Other B&B spoilers say Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will share some troubling news with Hope.
Now that Liam has had a showdown with Thomas at the Forrester mansion, he’ll feel the need to regroup with Hope and talk strategy.
Hope will be reluctant to buy into Liam’s notion that Thomas’ obsession is taking hold again.
Although Hope won’t want to believe Thomas is backsliding, Liam will think it’s happening before their very eyes – and he’ll want to do something about it before it’s too late.
As far as Liam’s concerned, Thomas needs to let Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) come home to the cabin full-time again and stop manipulating Hope.
Liam may think they need to be prepared for a major custody battle if Thomas won’t surrender.
Hope will make every effort to keep the peace and will really struggle with Liam’s suggestion that Thomas plans to woo her.
It’ll be hard for Hope to dismiss the positive changes she’s seen in Thomas, but Liam will think she has to open her eyes to what’s going on.
Is Liam right about Thomas’ fixation creeping up again – or is he just overreacting based on Thomas’ twisted history?
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope and Thomas could end up in a vicious custody war if this Douglas situation can’t be resolved.
