The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 22 to September 2, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will sound the alarm while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) relies on a dangerous ally. Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will also face some marriage misery, so here’s what viewers can look forward to.
During the week of August 22-26, Adam will corner Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about the Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) cover-up and how he got Chance to lie for the Newmans.
Victor will fire back about doing what needed to be done for his family and will slam Adam for his lack of loyalty.
However, Adam will think his loyalty simply went unnoticed and unappreciated. We’ll see Adam offer a veiled threat as he insists there’s always another shoe about to drop.
Meanwhile, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will help Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) as he struggles over feeling responsible for Ashland’s death.
As for Chance, he’ll battle guilt of his own for going against his beliefs as a cop.
When Abby acts pleased over the closed investigation, it’ll bring some conflict with Chance.
Later, a mysterious man named Lucas (Aaron Schwartz) will show up to help Adam with a wicked plot.
It seems Adam will want to make sure that other shoe drops – just like he told Victor it would!
Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will reel after Adam gains a big advantage, so he’ll go banging on Adam’s hotel room door.
Adam may end up using Lucas to hack his way into Ashland cover-up evidence, so that could be used as ammo or leverage.
Thanks to Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) ultimatum, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will decide to step away from podcasting and focus on his COO duties.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) won’t think that’s the right call, but Billy will ultimately suggest she should just host her own show.
Nevertheless, Chelsea will contend that working with Billy was the real appeal.
It won’t be long until Chelsea plans a kiss on Billy and makes things all kinds of awkward!
Billy will eventually pull away, but Chelsea will still feel like she’s getting mixed signals somehow.
Perhaps Billy will offer enough excitement over the kiss that Chelsea has some hope for a reunion with him.
Over with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Y&R spoilers say she’ll close a major deal – most likely the one she’s been working on for The Grand Phoenix.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will also plot a bold move to fight back against someone, so we’ll see if that’s Adam or another character on her bad side
Regardless, Adam will head to Jabot and shake Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) hand right as Kyle appears.
Kyle will question what’s going on and may grow concerned if Adam’s accepting Jack’s job offer.
While Kyle warns Jack about the dangers of working with untrustworthy Adam, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will take another gamble.
We’ll see Nate hog the limelight, so Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) should blow his top all over again.
During the week of August 29-September 2, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will spin a situation around on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
It won’t be enough to do serious damage yet, but Nikki may make life a little more difficult for her rival!
As Chance continues to mope over the choices he made in the Ashland case, Abby will get fed up with him.
We’ll see Abby lash out and perhaps rant about Chance’s lack of loyalty.
Of course, Chance’s job could be in jeopardy if Adam exposes the evidence he’ll presumably acquire.
It’ll look like Chance helped cover up a crime for his wife’s family – and that’s exactly what he did.
While Abby and Chance’s marriage takes a hit, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) and Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) will sizzle.
As Allie and Noah’s romance gets hotter, they should take things to the bedroom.
Finally, Chelsea and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will have a heated showdown.
There’s a good chance Chelsea will get under Sally’s skin over Adam, but Sally may push her buttons right back over Billy.
