The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) jealousy may erupt over Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) dating. Abby may have to decide whether she’ll fight for Chance or let go once he’s interested in another woman.
Right now, Abby’s trying to accept the fact that her marriage is over. When Chance moved out of the house, it was like reality truly started to set in.
Abby hates that things have fallen apart like this, but Chance feels the end of their romance was inevitable.
As far as Chance is concerned, they were doomed from the start – though Abby objected to him diminishing their love story like that.
Abby will continue to wrestle with pain and even some anger as this storyline presses on.
The week of December 12-16 will bring Abby’s growing fears about her future and how all this will affect Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware) moving forward.
Of course, Abby and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) may eventually accept that they’re meant to be together – just like Chance has been insisting.
However, it may take Abby a little while longer before she can truly let go of her life with Chance.
Jealousy is always a real problem in Genoa City, so there’s no reason to think things will be any different for Abby.
Y&R is already lining Sharon up to the new woman in Chance’s life since she’s always there to lend an ear.
Chance will grow more and more comfortable confiding in Sharon, so that’ll undoubtedly bring them closer.
At some point, this may progress to Sharon and Chance dating, so how’s Abby going to feel about that?
Abby wouldn’t be human if she didn’t battle some jealousy here. It’s just a matter of what Abby will decide to do about it.
A jolt of jealousy could convince Abby to make one last effort to fight for Chance and pull him back in her direction.
There’s no guarantee it would work, but Abby could at least try.
Then again, watching Chance move on could bring the closure Abby needs, even if it hurts to witness it.
Abby may find a way to let go once she sees Chance has the ability to be happy with someone else.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby may find herself at a crossroads once Sharon and Chance presumably become an item.
