The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that we have to ask: Are Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) headed for a one-night stand? Will Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) brother steal another lover?
Let’s really think about this for a moment. From the get-go, Billy has been willing to give Diane another chance because he knows what it’s like to be a screwup.
Since Billy was given an opportunity to turn his life around many times, he’d be a hypocrite if he denied Diane that same opportunity.
Whenever Diane and Billy cross paths, they also tend to be quite friendly with each other.
There’s no animosity going on here, so that alone could make Diane drawn to Billy at some point.
Of course, Diane has her sights set on Jack, but that dream’s sure to fall apart.
Diane wants this picture-perfect family with Jack and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), but she’s bound to crash and burn eventually.
Meanwhile, we’ve got Billy, who feels like something is missing in his life. Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) always tell themselves they’re on solid ground, but they fight a lot for a couple that claims to be so stable.
Between Billy’s issues with Lily and this void he’s dealing with, could he go looking to fill it with a hot hookup? After all, Billy has proven he’ll cross any line when it comes to who he’ll hit the sheets with.
Since Billy already slept with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), maybe he’ll add Diane to the list!
That’d be the ultimate way for Diane to betray Jack down the road.
Phyllis’ worst betrayal was having an affair with Billy, so Diane could level the playing field in a way. Diane had a fling with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) once upon a time, but Billy could be next.
Even if it’s not an ongoing thing, there’s still the potential for a one-night stand between Billy and Diane.
It could be a strategy for Diane to get back at Jack if he turns against her – or a terrible mistake that costs her a chance with Jack in the first place.
It’d be easy for Diane to strengthen her bond with Billy now that she’s looking to pursue a career in PR.
Diane might seek Billy’s advice due to his communications background and get a step closer to a possible hookup.
Could Billy and Diane land on a bedroom collision course? Will Jack’s brother steal another one of his love interests?
