The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will want to hire Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), so her brother will consider making the move to New York and committing a bold Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) betrayal.
There’s been some insider buzz for a while now about Nick getting back into the business arena – specifically with Victoria.
Of course, that would’ve meant working at Newman Enterprises up until recently, but now Victoria is building a brand-new empire.
Over the phone with Nick, Victoria will leave a trail of clues about her plans.
Based on what Victoria says, Nick will realize that she’s creating a new company to crush Newman Enterprises.
However, Victoria may also convince Nick that she was right about all the family manipulation.
After all, Victor’s decision to put Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) on the throne was about getting a reaction out of Victoria and convincing her to come home.
Nick doesn’t approve of Victoria’s reunion with Ashland, but he’s trying to respect that she’s a grown woman who’s capable of making her own choices.
That’s why Victoria is currently on better terms with Nick than Victor or even Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
We mentioned that insider buzz about Nick and Victoria most likely working with Victoria soon. Now it seems like that’s coming together in Y&R spoilers.
After Victor makes a move to sabotage Victoria’s new venture, Nick may object and argue this isn’t the way to bring his sister home.
It could lead to Nick and Victor sparring over the best way to handle all this.
Soon after, Nick will contemplate a big decision. During the week of June 27-July 1, Nick will mull over a change of scenery – meaning he’s probably going to land in New York for a while.
That’ll give Victoria a chance to recruit Nick and really twist the knife for Victor.
Since Nick walked away from the family business, luring him to this new company would be a real slap in the face to their father.
Plus, Victor wouldn’t be happy about Nick supporting Victoria and Ashland’s reunion in any way, shape or form.
Even just getting on board with this venture would mean siding with Ashland in Victor’s eyes.
On the other hand, there’s a chance Nick could take this route to keep an eye on Victoria.
Nick may have ulterior motives of protecting Victoria – just in case everyone’s fears about Ashland are still warranted.
Regardless, it looks like Victoria will want to hire Nick for her team and fight back after Victor’s sabotage.
Even if they relocate back to Genoa City eventually, there’ll be an opportunity for Nick and Victoria to join forces.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick will have to make some difficult choices and face some tough obstacles, so stay tuned.
