The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, July 18 Update – Adam’s Disappearing Act – Diane Earns Hero’s Welcome

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, July 18, teases that Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) disappearing act will worry Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) while Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) fears Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) wrath. Let’s talk about what’s in store on Monday’s exciting Y&R episode.

At Newman Media, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will walk in right as Sally’s wrapping up a concerned voicemail.

Sally will confess that Adam spent the night in Chicago with only a text as an explanation.

To make matters worse, Adam will be ghosting Sally now and refusing to call her back.

Sally will find it weird that Adam vanished and will debate whether he’s breaking his promise not to go after revenge on the Newmans.

Chloe will get that things might be up in the air now due to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) reclaiming the throne, but she’ll be on board with the COO job if it works out.

Sally will want to bounce around some ideas, but then she’ll acknowledge the imminent press conference and suggest they should hold off.

In the park, Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will defend his chance encounter with Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) to the officer who arrives, but she’ll only be there to enforce the law.

Harrison will thankfully be busy by the duck pond when all this goes down, so he won’t even notice the cop.

Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will think they have Diane to thank for Ashland’s arrest, but Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) won’t be all that impressed.

As far as Nikki’s concerned, Diane always has ulterior motives.

Later, Diane will still be in a tizzy at the Abbott house.

Kyle will point out that Harrison is fine, but Diane will fear that Kyle might be angry with her for how she handled things in the park.

However, Kyle will have nothing but praise for Diane – and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will agree with how Diane tackled the situation as well.

At Newman Enterprises, Victoria will tell Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that Adam fought for Sally’s job as expected.

The only surprise was Adam’s claim of breaking up with Sally and arguing he’d have no influence.

Since Sally couldn’t convince Adam to resume his role at Newman Media, Victor will have no use for her.

Victoria won’t have someone to take Sally’s place yet, so she’ll want to mull over her position a bit more and make a decision before the day’s over.

After Nikki finally arrives, she’ll offer updates on Ashland’s arrest over the restraining order violation.

Nikki will mention that Diane set it in motion, but she’ll act like her motives were about herself rather than protecting Harrison.

While the cop shows Ashland to his jail cell, he’ll rant about suing the GCPD for millions.

Ashland will then groan once he’s behind bars and stuck waiting for his attorney.

Once the Newman Enterprises press conference begins, Victor will announce Victoria’s return to the throne.

Nikki and Nick will get their own little moments in the spotlight as the family comes together – minus Adam of course.

Victoria will explain away Adam’s departure news and remain vague about Sally’s leadership role.

Nevertheless, Sally won’t have a good feeling after Victoria alludes to some possible staff realignments.

After the press conference concludes, Victor will show up outside Ashland’s jail cell.

That’ll lead to a fierce faceoff and Ashland’s insistence that Victor’s the one who should suffer loss.

Since that’ll seem like a threat, Victor will fight back by snatching Ashland through the bars and threatening him as well.

Nobody breaks the heart of Victor’s daughter and gets away with it, so he’ll make that crystal clear to Ashland.

Victor will also suggest he’ll follow Ashland wherever he goes, so Ashland will seem rather rattled as Victor leaves.

On the athletic club’s roof, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will distract herself from the thought of vocal node surgery tomorrow with some good company.

Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will appreciate Tessa and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) coming to hang out for drinks in the sun.

Once Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) shows up, she’ll accidentally tip Mariah and Tessa off to some New Hope drama.

Noah will explain that he wants to leave his position there, but the timing isn’t great since Nick’s back at Newman Enterprises.

Since Noah will want to wait until Nick’s settled in, he’ll get Tessa and Mariah to keep his plan to leave a secret.

There’ll also be talk about Noah’s idea of opening a hot new club at Top of the Tower.

Mariah will like seeing Noah so passionate about something – and she’ll like the fact that he seems happy around Allie, too.

Tessa will privately pump Noah for info on his new romance, so he’ll act positive about it despite not knowing where things might lead.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Allie and Noah will keep getting to know each other in the weeks ahead, so stay tuned to Y&R.

CDL will have all the sizzling Young and the Restless spoilers, news and updates you’re looking for, so pop back in soon.
