The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may quit Newman Enterprises to join Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) new venture. Will Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) lose her COO thanks to Nick’s shocking decision?
Nick was happy at Newman for a while, but now some bumps in the road are starting to emerge.
Victoria fired Sally for no real reason since she was doing a great job in the CEO role at Newman Media.
Since Victoria knocked Sally off the throne anyway, Nick has been grumbling about that ever since.
It’s certainly not something Nick’s been eager to get over, especially since Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has less experience than Sally and has proven his loyalties can change.
Nick has concerns about Victoria’s judgment call on this, so Y&R fans can tell that’s created some friction with his sister.
The tension could continue to grow since Nick remains interested in Sally romantically.
Victoria doesn’t think Sally is a good match for Nick, so she’s clearly worried about the road he could be headed down.
The same goes for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who might even put his foot down with Nick and offer an ultimatum.
Will Victor try to make Nick choose between Sally and his job at Newman Enterprises?
Regardless, Nick is already fed up with Victoria and Victor’s disapproval of Sally.
Although Sally has made mistakes in the past and recently slept with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Nick seems poised to move forward with her soon.
That could leave Nick committed to Sally in every way – even if he has to face personal and professional consequences.
It’s easy to imagine Nick quitting his position at Newman Enterprises and joining Sally’s team instead.
Nick could bring some fantastic business experience to the table and help Sally out a great deal.
Although Sally turned down Nick’s seed money, she might be more open to using him for brain power and collaboration.
This could turn into an exciting project that Nick and Sally carry out together – with Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) help of course!
Sally is entering the world of interior design, which is a bit of a departure from her background in fashion.
It’d be something new for Nick too, but that’s just another reason for them to tackle this like a team on a new adventure.
