The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may soon have a huge dilemma on her hands. Sally slept with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) one more time as she tried and failed to recapture her spark with him.
That was enough to convince Sally that things were truly over with Adam, so she said a heartfelt goodbye and went all in with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
However, that decision to hit the sheets with Adam one last time could come back to haunt Sally.
After all, Y&R writers could’ve let Sally and Adam have the same conversation without the lovemaking element.
The fact that Sally crossed that line could be significant, especially if this is building to a baby bombshell.
During the week of December 26-30, Sally will hide a secret. We can assume Sally will keep that secret from Nick as well, so we have to consider why.
Nick has proven quite accepting of Sally’s past mistakes, so this surely can’t be about her history.
Sally doesn’t seem tempted by Adam in any way now, so it doesn’t seem like she’ll make any other bedroom blunders in the present.
Nevertheless, Sally will have to be hiding something significant enough to keep it from Nick.
Of course, it could be something like a romantic surprise, especially since Nick’s birthday is coming up.
Sally might plan to catch Nick off guard in a positive way.
On the other hand, Y&R spoilers would typically use language like “Sally plans a surprise” in cases like that.
Sally’s secretive behavior sounds a little more troubling – like it’s information that she’s genuinely protective of and concerned about.
That brings us back to the writers’ decision to have Sally land in bed with Adam before parting ways with him.
This storyline is just begging for a paternity mystery since Sally has put Adam in the rearview mirror and wants to slowly move forward with Nick.
Sally might fret over the possibility that she’s pregnant with Adam’s baby, which could permanently tie her to him.
Even if Sally’s pregnant by Nick, that would certainly throw the whole “going slow” thing out the window.
There’s no guarantee Sally will have a baby bomb to drop, but it’s worth mulling over the possibility since there’s evidence of a big secret in spoilers now!
