The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, August 4, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will deliver a harsh ultimatum while Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) spills to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will also get some disturbing news, so let’s discuss what’s ahead.
For starters, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will corner Victor at Newman Enterprises and insist his father is hiding something.
Y&R spoilers say Nick will give Victor one more chance to be honest and tell him what happened the night Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) died.
Nick obviously suspects Victor had his security team get involved and stage the car crash in the ravine.
Based on Victor and Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) recent conversations, that’s exactly how things played out.
Whether Victor admits the truth or not, he won’t get why Nick is pushing so hard for answers.
Nick may rant about being responsible for Ashland’s death, but Victor certainly won’t mind that Ashland is gone forever.
Victor will get riled up as he argues that one cares about Ashland’s fate.
We’ll also see Victor deliver a harsh ultimatum to Nick, who may be warned to back off or else.
Victor feels confident he’s doing what’s best for the family, so he won’t want Nick making matters worse.
Too bad Victor has already done that with this unnecessary cover-up!
Next, Diane will have something to get off her chest during a conversation with Jack.
Although Diane helped Harrison Abbott (Kellen Enriquez) accept Ashland’s death, it brought up some buried issues.
That was a tough reminder of the pain Diane put Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) through when he was a young boy.
Kyle was devastated over his mother’s “death,” so Diane may fear she’ll never fully overcome such a horrible mistake.
Jack might point out that the past can’t be undone, so Diane just needs to move forward and keep trying to make amends.
Kyle is giving Diane a real shot at proving herself, so Jack may warn her not to blow it.
At The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will have some troubling updates for Ashley.
When Ashley learns Phyllis plans to set Diane up for sabotage, it’ll leave her flipping out.
Ashley won’t think this is a good idea at all and will reflect on Gloria Fisher-Bardwell’s (Judith Chapman) tainted face cream scandal.
There’ll be this overwhelming fear that Phyllis could lose control of the plot and do real damage to Marchetti as well as Jabot.
However, Phyllis will contend that there won’t be an actual threat to the companies. Nikki will back Phyllis up as they insist this is their best takedown strategy.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Ashley will decide she’s in, but something tells us her fears will prove warranted down the road!
