The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, July 6, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will make an Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) discovery while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) gets a new offer. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also find herself stuck in misery to the poor choices she’s made – though she should save some blame for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters)!
After Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) explains her whole scheme, Victor will realize his daughter duped Ashland and got his money back.
That discovery will no doubt leave Victor proud since Victoria behaved like a true Newman and took matters into her own hands.
Although Victor may argue that Victoria could’ve been honest and teamed up with him, this was something Victoria had to handle on her own.
Of course, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will assume Victoria is just going to swoop back in and reclaim the throne now.
That’ll leave Adam fuming, but Victoria will think everything she did was justified. The fact that Adam’s about to suffer will just be a bonus in Victoria’s eyes!
As for Victor, he may worry about Ashland’s next move.
Victor will make a connection regarding Ashland, so he might have his investigators do some digging and uncover Ashland’s revenge plot before it ever gets off the ground.
It looks like Ashland’s plans will indeed be thwarted by Victor down the road, so it’s just a matter of time until Victor makes a destructive countermove and sabotages his enemy.
In the meantime, Nick will consider a new offer.
Since Nick has already been contemplating going back to work at Newman Enterprises, he may get a formal invitation to rejoin the family business.
This should serve as another way to get under Adam’s skin and turn him against the Newmans.
Adam will soon be pushed to his breaking point, so Victoria and the others had better be ready!
As for Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), she’ll get an offer of her own.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will hope to lock Chloe in as her new COO, but she’ll warn that Chloe needs to make this decision quickly.
Y&R spoilers say Chloe will be quite interested in joining Sally’s team, especially since her partnership with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has become such a trainwreck lately.
Elsewhere, Phyllis will battle plenty of regrets down in her pit of despair.
Losing Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) was a tough blow since they were so close to getting their romance back on track.
Phyllis will beat herself up over her mistakes, but part of her will know none of this would’ve happened if Diane hadn’t come back to town.
Although Phyllis made this mess herself, she’ll always hold a grudge against Diane for all the turmoil she’s caused. As other Y&R news becomes available, we’ll bring you updates.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis isn’t done fighting back against Diane, so Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will have more drama to deal with eventually.
