The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, March 9, tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will get a new lead while Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) faces a sudden crisis. Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will also negotiate, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
For starters, Jack will remain in Los Angeles with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), who’ll continue to support him on his journey to closure.
However, that journey is about to take a shocking turn – one that could lead to a fresh start instead.
At some point this week, Jack’s set to find a photo of a girl named Allie (Kelsey Wang).
Phyllis will call Jack’s attention to the phone number on the back, so he’ll end up debating whether he should call it.
Of course, the whole point of coming to LA was to get answers, so Phyllis should give Jack the nudge he needs.
It looks like the photo discovery will come on Wednesday ahead of Kelsey Wang’s debut as Allie on Friday, March 11.
While Jack unknowingly prepares to meet his granddaughter, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will get Billy out of a jam back in Genoa City.
There’ll be some crisis for Traci to avert, so she’ll step up for Billy in a big way.
This could involve Billy’s podcast if it goes public with the merger details he surely wasn’t supposed to spill.
Then again, this could be about Billy feeling like an outsider since he admitted he does.
Regardless, Traci will save the day and help Billy avoid another disaster.
Even if that just means offering her typical guidance, Billy will definitely appreciate it.
As for Devon, it seems he’ll have a change of heart and become more open to the merger suggestion.
Devon and Lily will wrestle with a significant choice, so it sounds like negotiations could get underway.
That could lead to merging their companies if Lily and Devon can work out all the details, but it could take some time before an official deal is reached.
