The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 2, reveals that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will explode over their lying moms. Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will also hint at his secret Jabot plot, so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
At the ranch, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be pleased over the unlikely alliance that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) have formed.
After Victor suggests he’s leaving the Tucker and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) situation in their capable hands, he’ll head to the office. Ashley will then offer updates on Tucker feeding Diane information on Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang) in exchange for info on Ash.
Phyllis will find out that Diane felt backed into a corner and confessed, so she’ll think they deserve a pat on the back. Unfortunately, Phyllis will grow concerned over Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) potentially giving Diane the benefit of the doubt.
Since Jack will seem brainwashed with Diane’s claws in deep, Phyllis will decide to go make sure “that bitch” doesn’t get off the hook.
At Society, Tucker will apologize to Diane if he seemed threatening before. After Tucker acts like he forgives Diane for confessing, she’ll seem skeptical about the end of this alliance.
Tucker will admit he’s bummed to see half of his dream go, so Diane will question what he means. There’ll be talk about how Diane was supposed to gain access to Jabot’s financial info for Tucker, but she was never in a position to make that happen.
Diane won’t get what Tucker was going to do since he seems so sincere about winning Ashley back. Trying to take Ashley’s family company away won’t make sense to Diane, but Tucker will wonder who said he was trying to take it away.
However, Tucker will refuse to offer details since his collaboration with Diane has come to an abrupt end. Before Tucker goes, he’ll goad “poor Diane” about how she’s always looking over her shoulder for another threat.
At Newman Media, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will show up looking for Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), so Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will admit she hasn’t been able to get in touch with her either.
Sally will admit she’s out at Newman Media along with Chloe, so Adam will reel over the news and assume it’s because of her former association with him. Adam will apologize and offer to put in a good word for Sally at Jabot or Marchetti, but Sally will turn him down.
After Adam tries to put some of the blame on “Saint Nick” aka Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Sally will defend him since he fought Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) on this. Sally will also find out Adam’s trying to find Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and will seem concerned about what’s going on.
Later, Adam will leave another voicemail for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) before cornering Nick at Crimson Lights. Once Adam trashes Nick for destroying Sally’s dreams, he’ll act like Nick only slept with Sally to get under his skin.
Sally will approach Nick and Adam during their confrontation, so she’ll wonder if there’s a problem. Adam will argue that Nick used Sally to hurt him and then cut ties when he was done.
After Adam is gone, Sally will assure Nick that she knows that’s not true. Now that Sally’s out at Newman Media, she’ll talk about being in survival mode.
When Nick offers to help Sally, she’ll insist she doesn’t want help from him, Adam or anyone else. Sally will be determined to find whatever comes next on her own.
At the Abbott house, Jack will drop Diane’s deception bomb on Kyle and Summer following their trip. Kyle will be appalled over Allie being used as a pawn – and Summer will rant about Diane putting on a Tucker act at the vow renewal.
After Kyle recalls everyone telling him not to trust his mother, he’ll be especially upset because she wormed her way into Harrison Abbott’s (Kellen Enriquez) heart.
Jack will eventually admit Diane had no choice but to do Tucker’s bidding. Although Jack didn’t tell Ashley this part of the story, he’ll want Kyle and Summer to have the full picture.
Summer and Kyle will find out about Diane getting tangled up in the money-laundering drama with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). Jack will also confess that Diane wanted to get out ahead of this since Phyllis was still using Talia Morgan (Natalie Morales) to dig.
Since Phyllis swore she stopped trying to incriminate Diane, Summer will be livid. Once Jack steps out, Kyle will admit he feels for Diane since she was under the control of two powerful men. On the other hand, Kyle won’t see how he can ever trust Diane again.
Summer will acknowledge that Kyle is a lot more torn than she is since she’ll only be “pissed” with Phyllis. Moments later, Phyllis will show up hoping they’ve seen the light about Diane, but Summer will call Phyllis out on her own lies, too.
Phyllis will contend that she’s not the bad guy here and will push “Skyle” to tell her what they’re going to do about Diane.
