General Hospital Monday, July 6 Update: Nina’s Crushing Blow – Z Flirts with Carly – Josslyn’s Special Request

General Hospital (GH) update for Monday, July 6, indicate that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will receive some horrible news while Z (John Oliver) tries an interesting tactic with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also have a favor to ask, so let’s discuss all the drama that’s brewing.

For starters, Carly will pressure Z to fire Josslyn from the WSB, so he’ll admit this is the first time an agent’s mommy has demanded that he boot her child from the bureau.

Carly will insist there’s a first time for everything and make it clear that she’s not joking.

Z will end up flirting with Carly and will leave her appalled over him not taking this seriously.

However, Z has no intention of letting Josslyn go, particularly now that she’s impressed him so much.

That said, Z may suggest Carly can take comfort in the agreement he just made with Josslyn, which will ensure Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) walk free.

At GH, Josslyn will apologize to Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), so that may involve her deception regarding her WSB status and the next lie she’s about to tell.

Josslyn plans to make Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) out to be a heroic agent who died in the line of duty, so he obviously won’t be publicly acknowledged as Marco Rios’ (Adrian Anchondo) killer.

Although Cassius Faison aka “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) came back to save Josslyn in the end, she intends to trash him and make it look like he was Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) partner in crime.

This is what’s best for the WSB, so Josslyn’s willing to do her part as long as Valentin and Jason get to come home.

Lucas surely isn’t going to like it when he finds out the truth about Marco’s demise will stay buried.

Josslyn will get that it’s hard, but she may push Lucas to keep his mouth shut about Cullum sending Marco to an early grave.

Lucas may push back more than Josslyn expects and leave her struggling to keep a lid on things.

Josslyn may also have a special request for Agent S. Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) when he makes a surprise visit to her room, so they may have an awkward reunion coming up.

Over with Nina, General Hospital spoilers say she’ll be stunned when she discovers Nathan’s resurrection was all a lie. Nina will find out Cassius took Nathan’s place and is now supposedly deceased, so that’ll be a crushing blow.

At some point, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will find out about Cassius’ deadly outcome as well, but Z could be lying if Cassius secretly survived.

After Britt delivers a plea and tries to get Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) help getting out of her current jam, he’ll double down and insist the WSB will decide her fate.

Britt will wind up lashing out at someone on Monday’s show, so stay tuned to see if Dante will receive her fury or someone else.

Next, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) will have an angry meltdown of her own when she finds out about Carly’s alliance with Valentin and all the time he spent under her roof.

Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) will confess to knowing Valentin was there and visiting him frequently until he went to Geneva to expose Cullum.

Lulu will be livid over Carly and Charlotte covering for Valentin, so she’ll unleash her wrath.

Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) will also slam Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) for letting Jason take the fall for a crime he didn’t commit.

While Danny pushes Rocco to turn himself in and clear Jason’s name, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will stop by to see Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) at GH.

That’ll give Sonny a chance to tease Ethan about his butt injury and the fact that he was hurt protecting Ava Jerome (Maura West).
