The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of June 20-24 tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will make a bold move while a Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) takedown team tries to form. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will also get some shocking news, so here’s what fans can expect.
For starters, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will seek Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) help with a special project.
There’ll be a goal Nikki wants to accomplish, so she’ll count on Michael to play a key role with a new assignment.
Since we know Nikki is determined to drive Diane out of town, that might be the project she recruits Michael for.
Nikki may urge Michael to keep playing nice with Diane and get her to drop her guard.
That way, they can strike when Diane least expects it and find a way to drive her right out of Genoa City.
However, Nikki’s plan is sure to hit a snag if that’s what she has in mind.
Michael isn’t holding a grudge against Diane and genuinely seems to have renewed his friendship with her.
With that in mind, Nikki may be out of luck when it comes to forming a Michael alliance against Diane.
Instead, summer preview spoilers point to Nikki and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) teaming up, so Phyllis may be Nikki’s choice as a backup ally.
In the meantime, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will grill Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and may not like the updates he offers.
Y&R spoilers say Jill will voice some concerns about Billy and his future, so she may think he seems rather disconnected from Chancellor-Winters.
Billy is Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) biggest cheerleader, but he also feels like an outsider since this has turned into such a family affair.
That may trouble Jill if she feels like it’s affecting Billy’s ability to be a team player.
There’s also the matter of Billy always reverting back to controlling Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Billy claims he can let go, but for how long?
Jill may hear about Lily lashing out at Billy recently and worry he’ll drive her away with his Victoria obsession.
Since this has been such a healthy relationship for Billy in Jill’s eyes, it’s easy to see why she’d be rooting for Billy and Lily to stick together.
Next, Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) will ignore Amanda’s repeated warnings and go after what she wants.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will get a distraction thanks to Imani, who’ll be glad to get some attention in return.
As Imani keeps pulling Nate closer, there’ll inevitably be more problems.
Amanda clearly has a bad feeling about what’s in store and wants to prevent it, but that may not be possible.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say some surprising news is headed Amanda’s way.
Amanda will face a shocker that could rock her relationship with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
That could involve something personal like an unplanned pregnancy, but it could also point to Amanda making a discovery – like catching Nate cheating on Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) with Imani.
Something like that could affect Amanda’s relationship with Devon if she chooses to hide the truth.
Over with Kyle, he’ll make a huge decision and tackle a new challenge head-on.
It sounds like Kyle will move forward with plans to step down as Jabot’s co-CEO and run Marchetti instead.
As for Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier), she’ll have more questions for Phyllis upon her return to GC.
Summer will corner Phyllis and push for the truth about her latest rift with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) as well as how Diane contributed to it.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) should also have some bold moves in mind as he settles into the Newman Enterprises CEO chair.
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will support Adam and make some significant power plays of her own as she leads Newman Media.
While Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) carries out grand plans with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) in New York, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be waiting on them to make a move so he can react.
Once that happens, Victor could strike back so hard that Victoria has no choice but to come home and confront him!
Whatever the case, Victor definitely has a few tricks up his sleeve.
Meanwhile, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will deal with a crisis she didn’t see coming.
Perhaps Tessa’s recent sore throat indicated a far worse problem – like some issue with Tessa’s vocal cords.
If so, Tessa’s tour may be delayed and leave her with fears about her career.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will do her best to reassure Tessa through the drama that’s brewing for these newlyweds.
Finally, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will spar with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), so that could have something to do with Summer hoping for a collaboration at Marchetti.
If Chloe doesn’t get on board, Chelsea may have a good reason to clash with her.
