Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview video for the week of August 21-25 reveals that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will propose a toast to Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) as she remembers him along with Roman Brady (Josh Taylor).
Roman will seem skeptical about Marlena mourning “the old scoundrel,” so she may admit she’s mostly heartbroken for Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and the rest of Victor’s grieving family.
DOOL’s weekly preview video shows a flashback of Marlena slapping Victor, so Days is going to highlight Victor’s more villainous actions over the years and the hostile responses he often got.
Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) may argue that the world’s a better place with Victor gone since she blames him for orchestrating the baby swap once upon a time.
Victor helped keep the truth about Rachel Black’s (Finley Rose Slater) identity under wraps, so it looks like Kristen will think back to her revenge plot and how it almost cost Victor his life back then.
Of course, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) certainly won’t miss Victor, so she’ll tell EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) that her former husband treated her like dirt – especially that time he shoved her out of a window!

At the Kiriakis mansion, Days spoilers say Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will continue to reel over Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) pregnancy.
“I’m gonna be a father and you weren’t even gonna tell me?!” Xander exclaims in DOOL’s preview video after doing the math in his head.
Despite the suspicious timing and Sarah’s ginormous baby bump, she’ll insist Xander isn’t the man who got her pregnant.
Sarah will claim Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) is the bio dad instead and will say some rather cruel things to make Xander believe her.
Perhaps Sarah will lie about how relieved she was when the paternity test was a match for Rex.
Sarah might insist she wept with relief and act like she couldn’t even imagine co-parenting with a guy like Xander.
Although Sarah’s story will be totally bogus, it’ll be enough to make Xander decide he’s not going to be a daddy after all.
Still, Xander will crack a joke or two about how Sarah should get in touch if the baby comes out sounding Scottish.
In other words, Xander will believe Sarah, but his dig at her suggests maybe some small part of him will hang onto hope – even if he doesn’t really admit it to Sarah or himself.
Meanwhile, Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) will nearly confess the true paternity of Nicole’s baby to Eric Brady (temporarily played by Jason Gerhardt), but some sudden pain will throw off her plans.
Eric will take Sloan to the hospital, where she’ll collapse and ultimately have an ultrasound to determine the status of her unborn child.
“Is the baby OK?” Eric asks Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) in the exam room in Days’ weekly promo.
