Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will continue to feel like Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) fits perfectly in his family. It could lead to Chad making a bold move to lock in his future, so let’s talk about what’s ahead on Days.
There was a time when Chad thought he’d never be able to move on from Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller), but now he realizes he has another chance at living happily ever after.
Abigail pushed Chad to move on when she appeared to him, so he’s taking her advice as well as Jack Deveraux’s (Matthew Ashford).
Since Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) already had a nice bond with Stephanie, this dating transition has been remarkably easy for them.
Thomas even asked if Stephanie and Chad were going to get married when he first heard they were a couple.
Although Chad suggested they should just focus on this smaller step, he could eventually start thinking about a much bigger one.
Thomas’ question may have been a hint about a fast marriage proposal happening in Chad and Stephanie’s DOOL storyline.
Of course, all Days pairings tend to face bumps in the road.
Chad will get on Stephanie’s bad side thanks to his blunder during the week of March 6-10, but that could bring an opportunity to communicate and become a stronger team.
Nevertheless, Chad may worry about Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) in the back of his mind.
There might be a sense of urgency when it comes to putting a ring on it and keeping Alex away as a romantic threat.
That’s especially true since Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) is alive, so Alex didn’t really blow Stephanie’s last chance to ever talk to her.
Stephanie will reunite with Kayla at some point, which means the phone fiasco won’t taint her memories of Alex quite so much.
Naturally, part of Chad may also have something to prove.
Chad nearly missed his shot with Stephanie because he struggled to let go of Abigail, so he may try to show Stephanie and himself that he can make another commitment.
Days writers tend to move relationships along quickly, so it’s easy to imagine Chad popping the question in the not-too-distant future and hoping for some engagement news.
Chad may rush into a marriage proposal and botch things as a result, but we’ll see how it all plays out!
