Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will find it difficult to resist the pull they feel toward each other. Days viewers will recall that Rafe planted a kiss on Jada recently, but that only happened because of the tainted Sweet Bits biscuits.
If Rafe hadn’t been drugged out of his mind, he certainly would’ve been respectful of boundaries.
Jada is eager to move on from what happened, but that doesn’t mean she’ll be able to stop thinking about Rafe and how much she wants him.
Likewise, Rafe will continue to struggle with growing desires for Jada.
This could turn into a situation where one of them has to quit – at least if Jada and Rafe are going to have any hope of pursuing a romance.
Abe Carver (James Reynolds) is really laying down the law when it comes to the policy that’s in place.
Jada isn’t allowed to date her superior, so she’s agreed with Rafe about nothing ever happening between them.
Of course, that’s not realistic on a soap when two people are so clearly drawn to each other.
Days has been laying the groundwork for Rafe and Jada to be a couple, so it’s bound to happen sooner or later.
It’s just a matter of how Jada and Rafe will finally be able to pursue a relationship.
There’s a chance Abe will eventually make some updates to the policy and offer an easier path forward.
It’s also possible that Rafe could get demoted or fired if he’s caught crossing the line with Jada.
If Jada and Rafe surrender to temptation together, both their jobs could be in jeopardy.
Then again, Rafe might willingly step down from the police commissioner position so he can be equals with Jada.
That would eliminate the problem since Rafe would no longer be Jada’s superior.
However, Jada wouldn’t want Rafe to give up his position and might end up quitting herself.
There’d be some great reasons for Jada to do that if Days wants her to explore another career opportunity.
DOOL fans know Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) could always use some extra help at Black Patch, so Jada could become a private investigator.
That would allow Jada to keep putting her investigative skills to good use while paving the way for her to date Rafe out in the open.
It’d make sense for Jada to become more involved in storylines with Steve since her father, Dr. Marcus Hunter (Richard Biggs), was close friends with him.
Marcus would be proud to know Jada was in Steve’s orbit helping Black Patch solve cases.
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe and Jada’s romantic obstacle will be solved one way or another, so stay tuned for news on their future.
