Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) and Tripp Johnson’s (Lucas Adams) living arrangement is only going to bring them closer. That could mean bad news for Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), but it could also be a good thing in the long run.
DOOL fans know Wendy was surprised when Tripp offered himself up as a roommate since he’s decided to stick around Salem and work at University Hospital again.
Of course, the plan almost hit a snag due to Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) moving in, but Wendy and Tripp worked it all out.
Based on how hard Wendy fought to keep Tripp as a roomie, it’s obvious that she really wants him there.
Wendy is trying to convince herself that she can just be friends with Tripp, but the attraction between them is steadily growing.
Meanwhile, we’ve got Johnny, who seems to be sharing a close moment with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) every time Wendy turns around.
How could Wendy ever possibly trust Johnny when his connection with his ex-wife is on display constantly?
Wendy definitely seemed frustrated when she threw Tripp’s roommate status in Johnny’s face, so she was trying to stir up some jealousy.
Regardless, Days spoilers suggest Wendy and Tripp’s growing bond is the important thing to focus on here.
Tripp will be living under the same roof with Wendy and seeing her all the time.
Gabi isn’t eager to stay in close quarters with Li any more than necessary, so she may not be home much.
Li will probably stalk Gabi all over town, so he may not be around to cramp Wendy’s style either.
Tripp and Wendy could actually have the apartment all to themselves more often than not.
Days spoilers hint that temptation could become an issue since that’s what usually happens in soapy situations like this one.
Although Wendy has been trying to keep her spark alive with Johnny, she may let her spark with Tripp take over instead.
Wendy and Tripp could easily make out or even hook up at some point.
That could give Johnny a chance to catch Tripp and Wendy in the act depending on how things play out, so Days fans will want to stay tuned.
Will Johnny derail Wendy and Tripp’s passion?
If Johnny catches these roommates crossing the line, it could give him a reason to go all in on pursuing Chanel for a full-fledged reunion.
