Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, April 20, reveals that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) hopped in the shower and had a steamy fantasy of Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) being in there with her.
Meanwhile, Eric had a similar fantasy of passion erupting while he was in his own shower. By the time Eric finally made it down to the pub, Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) commented on how long that shower was and wished she’d joined him.
Sloan also got honest about this no-strings-attached arrangement not working for her anymore. Eric was surprised to learn Sloan wanted to be more than his booty call; she wanted to be his girlfriend.
Before Eric could really respond, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) came blowing in the pub to berate Sloan for the drugged biscuits. Eric defended Sloan, so Paulina called him out for being a fool and felt he shouldn’t come crying to her when he was proven wrong.
Afterward, Eric admitted he wanted more out of this relationship as well and said he’d love for Sloan to be his girlfriend, so Sloan was thrilled and shared a kiss with him.
At the DiMera mansion, Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) stopped by Nicole’s room looking for aspirin since she’d had too many drinks at mahjong with the girls.
Nicole admitted she was hung over on biscuits and offered updates on the whole drugging situation – including the part where she slept with Eric by mistake.
Anna thought it was acceptable to keep a few secrets in a relationship, especially since Nicole claimed things were over with Eric.
To avoid rocking the boat with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), Anna advised Nicole to keep quiet and promised this would stay between them.
Downstairs, EJ complained about the secret Nicole was keeping from him since he overheard her on the phone. Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) thought EJ was jumping to conclusions and felt that secrets in a relationship could actually be a good thing.
After Tony talked about the discernment of knowing what to divulge, he suggested the important thing was whether Nicole was happy with EJ.
Next on Thursday’s Days episode, EJ interrupted Nicole and Anna’s conversation. Anna claimed they were just discussing whether to have red or white wine at dinner, so EJ suggested he came up to ask Nicole the same thing.
Once Nicole picked white, EJ pointed out that dinner was almost ready and led her back down with him. Nicole wound up sharing a kiss with EJ, so they both took Anna and Tony’s advice as they acted like everything was fine.
At home on Thursday’s DOOL show, Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) sulked over losing Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and answered the door to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).
After Johnny explained the drugged marriage proposal news, he hoped to find out where Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) was since she wasn’t responding to his texts or calls. Johnny was desperate to help Wendy understand what really happened.
Li checked his own texts and realized Wendy had flown to Seattle, so Johnny groaned over her being with Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams). Although Li was amused over Johnny’s misery, he agreed to help him out by calling Wendy.
In Seattle, Tripp was stunned when Wendy showed up at Joey Johnson’s (Tanner Stine) apartment door. Once Tripp confirmed that Joey’s surgery went well and that he’d be home tomorrow, he questioned why Wendy flew all those miles to see him.
Wendy confessed that she was disappointed over their canceled date, but Tripp knew there was more to the story. That led to Wendy admitting she witnessed Johnny proposing to Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), who accepted and was going to marry him again.
At one point, Wendy did answer Li’s call, but she hung up on him after learning Johnny wanted to speak with her.
Tripp thought both Johnny and Chanel had lost their minds, but he ultimately cooked for Wendy on their first date. Wendy shared a toast with Tripp as they embraced old friends and new possibilities.
In the town square, Johnny made a phone call to book the next nonstop flight to Seattle.
Back with Li on Thursday’s Days episode, he looked at the rings Gabi had removed and then somberly removed his own wedding band.
At the hospital, Gabi caught up with Stefan, who kissed her since they could actually be together in public. After Gabi confirmed the divorce was happening, she admitted she lost the DiMera shares.
Stefan didn’t care about that since he was finally with Gabi, but she insisted they would eventually have the DiMera power they craved. However, Gabi pointed out that they didn’t have anywhere to live.
Stefan insisted that Gabi would come live with him at the DiMera mansion and acted like he could handle EJ, so they headed there soon after.
In the living room on Thursday’s Days episode, Gabi and Stefan interrupted EJ, Nicole, Anna and Tony’s toast. Stefan said that they’d better pour a couple more glasses and announced that he was once again making the DiMera mansion his home with Gabi.
