Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) will remain torn between Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) for a while, but this is just another obstacle on the path back to “Stabi.”
Deep down, Gabi is the true love of Stefan’s life.
DOOL fans know that nobody else can really compete for Stefan, who fell so completely for Gabi before his “death.”
That said, Stefan has grown closer to Chloe in recent months.
Even if Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) had been able to undo the Chloe programming, that doesn’t mean Stefan’s feelings for her would’ve just turned off like a switch.
The goal of the story now is for Stefan’s love for Gabi to ultimately overpower what he feels for Chloe.
At some point, it should click for Stefan that Gabi is his soulmate and Chloe could never be “the one.”
Of course, that doesn’t mean the road ahead will be easy! Days spoilers say Stefan will botch his Valentine’s Day date with Gabi big time, so she’ll throw wine on him and stomp off by the end of the night.
However, Days spoilers say Stefan just needs a little more time to understand the depth of his love for Gabi.
Once that happens, Stefan may take some bold steps to prove how much Gabi really means to him.
Gabi is still technically married to Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), but that probably won’t stop Stefan from proposing.
After Stefan eventually decides he’s all in and wants only Gabi, he may get down on one knee and ask her to remarry him.
Unfortunately, that could bring another round of obstacles since Days spoilers say Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) will help Li play dirty.
Li will apparently drag out the divorce in hopes of making Gabi fall back in love with him, but he’s not going to win the battle for Gabi’s heart.
That’s because it was never truly a battle at all! Gabi has never stopped loving Stefan and perhaps never will, so engagement news and remarriage should be in their future.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Stefan and Gabi’s romantic reunion will come with more curveballs, so stay tuned for updates on how they’ll overcome the hurdles.
