Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that fans will soon be seeing a new face in Salem, but it’ll be a familiar one to at least a couple characters. SOD confirms that Jasper Newman has joined the cast of DOOL and will make his debut in the role of Colin on April 27.
Newman’s first Days airdate offers some huge clues about who he’s playing and what Colin will be doing during his run.
There’s a mystery going on that Colin is no doubt already tangled up in.
Days spoilers say Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) will sneak off to a secret meeting, which will lead to her motives in the drugged biscuit saga being revealed.
It turns out the puzzle pieces of Talia’s agenda will click into place on April 27 – the very same day that Jasper Newman will debut on Days as Colin.
Of course, this means Colin will be the one who meets with Talia, so he’s the partner in crime she’s been working with.
Since Talia has proven she’s willing to lie right to Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) face, all that talk about her bad breakup may have been bogus.
There’s a good chance Talia is still romantically involved with Colin if she’s going to all this trouble for him.
Naturally, Colin’s involvement means we need to take a closer look at him and determine his own motives, too.
All signs point to Colin being Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty) brother, so let’s mull over his agenda with that in mind.
Colin may be estranged from Sloan and unhappy with her own failed efforts to avenge their dead parents.
Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) had an affair with Dr. Nathan Bedford while she was studying in London, but things went south once his wife, Martha Bedford, tricked Chanel into having a rooftop confrontation.
That’s where Martha attacked Chanel, who pushed her away and didn’t realize Martha was so close to the edge until it was too late.
Sloan’s mother died from a fatal fall before her father ultimately drank himself to death, so Sloan holds Chanel responsible for both losses.
Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) went to great lengths to cover up Chanel’s actions, so Sloan has always blamed her as well.
However, Colin may have his own beef with his sister since it seems like he’s using Talia to set Sloan up.
Maybe Colin wants to make Chanel & Paulina pay while simultaneously framing Sloan, which could mean bad news for all of them!
