Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, November 23, reveal that Thanksgiving will leave Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) down in the dumps since she’ll be all alone while Nicole Walker-DiMera (Arianne Zucker) continues grieving at the hospital with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) was supposed to have dinner over at Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) place with Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens), but he’ll change his plans once he realizes Holly’s spending the holiday by herself.
Days spoilers say Johnny will make this discovery and call Chanel to offer updates, but she’ll continue to suspect Holly has a crush on him and might be using the situation to get closer.
After Johnny whips up some messy sandwiches that he refers to as Thanksgiving on a bun, he’ll dab the corner of Holly’s mouth with a napkin.
Holly will feel like Johnny’s flirting when he’s really just trying to lift her spirits and be a good stepbrother.
Even so, Holly will believe things are going well and may actually start to believe she has a chance with Johnny.
That’s obviously not the case considering Holly is a high schooler and Johnny is too old for her – not to mention he’s currently dating Chanel.
Regardless, Days spoilers say Holly will feel like this Thanksgiving is shaping up to be a magical night – at least until Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann) accidentally ruins it with his arrival.
Once Tate’s there to keep Holly company, Johnny will head off to find Chanel and celebrate the rest of the holiday with her.
DOOL fans can expect Holly to blast Tate for ruining her evening, but she’ll suggest he can make it up to her if he helps plot Chanel and Johnny’s breakup.
While Holly ropes Tate into some trouble, Paulina and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will manage to squeeze in some romantic time together.
Abe will have at least one memory flash and recall how much he wanted to kiss Paulina on a certain occasion. Abe will admit he wants to kiss her now as well, so Paulina will lock lips with him and feel a familiar spark.
Other Days spoilers say Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) will deal with some suspicions when it comes to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and his weird behavior.
Stephanie doesn’t know Chad purchased Gwen von Leuschner’s (Emily O’Brien) half of The Spectator with the goal of firing Everett Lynch (Blake Berris), so Chad may keep that info under wraps for as long as he can.
Nevertheless, Stephanie will feel like something’s up with Chad and may suspect this has something to do with his jealousy over Everett.
Since Everett will join Thanksgiving dinner at the Horton house, Stephanie will share the news with Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and alert her to the awkwardness of her ex becoming part of the celebration.
Everett will get flirty with Stephanie as usual, so Chad’s anger will quickly start to boil over.
There’ll be a moment when it seems like Chad’s announcing his new co-ownership of The Spectator and his decision to fire Everett, but his outburst could be a fantasy.
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chad will disapprove of Everett getting so close to Stephanie and hope he can shut her former flame down soon enough.
