General Hospital Recap: Friday, June 2 – Michael’s Video Stuns Carly – Esme’s Confession Letter – Jordan Walks Out on Curtis

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Friday, June 2, reveals that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) flirted with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) by the pool and ran into Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) by the bar, where Sonny revealed his engagement to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).

When Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) appeared, Sonny started a fight with him that Dante tried to break up.

However, it was ultimately Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) who showed up and pushed Sonny to believe Ned was innocent.

In a moment alone with Ned, Olivia said she never should’ve doubted him and asked for forgiveness.

Ned just wanted to keep hearing how Olivia believed he didn’t call the SEC and shared a kiss with her.

Next, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) showed up to see Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) at home after hearing from Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) that he’d moved back in.

Since Curtis seemingly reconciled with Portia while letting his ex-wife wait for him, Jordan was understandably upset.

Curtis argued that he was just in the guest room, but he felt he needed to figure out his feelings for Portia – and then he could figure out where he stood with Jordan.

In the end, Jordan decided she’d spent too much time in limbo, so she refused to put her life on hold anymore and walked out.

At the bank, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) opened the safe deposit box that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) left behind, which contained a receipt from an online pharmacy.

A prescription had seemingly been filled by Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) for the same drug that almost killed Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno).

Trina wound up talking about when Esme drugged her at the cabin, so Spencer came clean about finding the pills and having Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) test one of them.

Spencer was sorry for just now telling Trina, so she assured him it was OK. That said, what Esme did was such a violation.

Once they turned their attention back to the proof in the box, Spencer and Trina read what was essentially a confession letter from Esme to Maggie Fitzgerald (Heather Olt).

It talked about how Esme drugged the bartender and might’ve seriously hurt him.

There was also a tablet that provided evidence from a security camera to prove Esme paid for and accepted a burner phone on the dock.

Trina told Spencer that they had to take all this proof to the PCPD and said he had everything he needed to get custody of Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).

At GH, Ava Jerome (Maura West) warned Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) that they couldn’t let Laura Collins (Genie Francis) go off searching for Nikolas Cassadine (last played by Adam Huss) in Chechnya.

Austin didn’t see the problem, but Ava argued that it was dangerous and refused to have any more blood on her hands – especially not Laura’s.

After Austin agreed to help Ava figure out a plan, they marveled over Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) staying out of touch for so long.

Mason suddenly appeared after being out of town for a while and felt it was time to show him some appreciation.

Once Mason said Ava had all the charisma they needed, he hinted about her very specific connections and added that this was about her family.

In Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) kitchen, she told Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) that she’d either take her chances in court or strike a deal – whatever decision she believed would be best for her family.

Michael offered evidence that Sonny couldn’t defend himself against and said he had a way to ensure Carly never had to open her mouth against him.

After Michael pulled out a flash drive, he said it contained irrefutable proof that Sonny violated the national security act.

All Carly had to do was give Michael the word and he’d make sure the right parties got that footage, which would keep Carly’s hands clean.

Michael explained that it was video of Sonny and his crew finalizing a deal to export a dangerous weapon.

When Carly asked how he got this, Michael admitted that he commissioned it before deciding not to use it.

Michael was glad he held onto it since it might be the only thing standing between Carly and federal prison.

Carly wished that footage didn’t exist at all and demanded to know who else knew about this.

At Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) apartment, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) pushed him to email her the video of Sonny taking the shipment from Pikeman.

It turns out Dex didn’t save a copy for himself and wouldn’t have used it even if he had.

In Dex’s opinion, it was Michael’s property since he’d completed the mission for him.

That news frustrated Josslyn, so Dex felt like he was failing her.

Josslyn assured Dex that she didn’t blame him for her family’s mess, but she didn’t know how to fix it either.

After Dex recalled Josslyn offering to leave town with him, he confessed that terrified him.

Josslyn thought Dex meant things had gotten too intense, but he clarified that she was special and that he was in love with her.

It was Dex’s turn to ask if this was too much for Josslyn, but she simply smiled and planted a big kiss on him.

General Hospital spoilers say Josslyn and Dex still have some challenges to face, so stick with us for updates on the rocky road ahead.
