General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) could find himself in a difficult position if he scores the police commissioner position that Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) has in mind.
It’s not a done deal yet since Jordan doesn’t get the final say, but she hopes to get Taggert selected as her replacement now that she’s going to be Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) deputy mayor.
GH spoilers suggest that could lead to some trouble since the PCPD is trying to take down Selina Wu (Lydia Look).
Taggert will no doubt get updates on all the surveillance info and become part of this effort to stop Selina’s shady activities.
Since Selina runs these poker nights at The Savoy and has roped Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) into an alliance, this could blow back on him big time.
Curtis could end up implicated in some of Selina’s crimes, especially since we know she can’t be trusted.
We won’t be surprised if Curtis ends up in over his head far deeper with Selina than he expected to be.
Curtis has tried to keep his hands clean, but Selina may stab him in the back and make sure he goes down with her.
That’s especially true if Selina fears Curtis has betrayed her in some way – perhaps in an effort to get out of their partnership.
Taggert could end up becoming part of this Selina investigation, so what happens if Curtis gets caught in the mess? Could this lead to a situation where Taggert is forced to arrest Curtis?
Even if Curtis gets off the hook later, it’d bring some juicy drama if Taggert arrested Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) biological father!
Curtis might accuse Taggert of making this personal and getting a form of payback.
Of course, Trina might feel torn between the dad she’s loved all her life and the bio dad she’s trying to get to know better.
Regardless, Curtis hasn’t been honest with Trina and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) about all his Selina secrets, so there’s surely going to be some fallout any way you slice it!
General Hospital spoilers say Taggert’s new police commissioner role could lead to problems for Curtis, so stay tuned to see what’ll play out if that news becomes official.
