General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) seemingly met his maker after Mac Scorpio (Jon Lindstrom) fired a deadly shot on Spoon Island, but things aren’t always as they seem on soaps. Ryan has cheated death before, so is he really gone for good this time?
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) confirmed Ryan was deceased– and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) later unzipped the body bag so he could get some closure regarding his brother’s grim fate.
However, we can’t forget how convinced Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) were that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was dead in the GH stairwell.
Liz and Finn went as far as storing Peter’s body in a freezer – only to discover he was alive later.
If two medical professionals can make a mistake when it comes to pronouncing someone dead, anyone can in Port Charles!
Soaps often do some pretty wild things to wiggle out of dramatic corners. Ryan is a fantastic villain, so it’d be a shame if he was gone permanently.
With that in mind, could there be another major twist in the works when it comes to Ryan? Will Ryan disappear from the morgue and lead to a mystery?
There’s a chance Ryan will be gone from the body bag later on, which could give everyone an opportunity to worry about Ryan’s lingering threat.
Perhaps Ryan could disappear for a while to plot his next move and enjoy watching everyone – especially Ava Jerome (Maura West) – squirm from afar.
It’s wise to be suspicious when it comes to deaths on soaps.
Over the years, Ryan has proven to be an exceptionally conniving character who’ll stop at nothing to get what he wants.
Could there be some shocking news out of the morgue at some point? Will Ryan pull off a vanishing act as his final trick – at least his final trick for now?
It wouldn’t be all that surprising considering the show’s track record on baddies coming back again and again.
If Ryan’s body disappears, that could set the stage for another return stint.
