General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, March 9, tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will catch Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) off guard at the Metro Court. After Curtis shoves some papers back in Nina’s direction, he’ll insist he can’t accept whatever she’s offering.
Nina might have a wedding gift for Curtis, who may not feel comfortable taking it since things are so up in the air with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) right now.
Curtis isn’t even sure if his marriage will survive, so he may admit that news to Nina.
It looks like Curtis will also open up about Portia’s lie and the possibility of him being Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) biological father.
Nina is in a similar situation since she found out Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) is her daughter, but she’s struggling to connect with her.
Since Curtis will be able to commiserate with someone who understands, GH spoilers say this conversation with Nina should help him work through his feelings.
At the gallery, Trina will give Ava Jerome (Maura West) updates on the daddy drama and the latest Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) developments, too.
Between all the family issues and Trina’s recent kiss with Spencer, she’ll have a lot on her mind.
Trina will seek advice on something in particular, but Ava won’t think she can help.
Although Ava is always willing to lend an ear and offer support, she can’t tell Trina what to do.
That said, Ava previously urged Trina to follow her heart while proceeding with caution, so she may offer that guidance again since it fits for just about every situation.
At Charlie’s Pub, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will chat with Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) before inspiration strikes.
We’ll see a lightbulb moment for Maxie, who’ll insist “somebody needs to do something about it.”
Of course, Maxie will rise to the challenge, so this could have something to do with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) bonding since they’ll indeed do that soon.
Although Maxie doesn’t know Cody lied about the DNA results, she might reflect on how disappointed Mac was to find out Cody wasn’t his son.
Maxie might think Mac and Cody should connect anyway since lonely Cody could use a mentor.
Then again, Maxie sometimes plays matchmaker and meddles in people’s loves lives, so she might find herself on a romantic mission involving Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Carly and Drew have already been seeing each other in secret, but they’ve been contemplating the decision to go public.
It’ll be interesting to see if Maxie perhaps makes a mess of things.
As for Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), it seems he’ll get dressed after spending the night with Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) – though he’ll make sure she knows not to mention their time together to anyone.
However, Victor doesn’t realize Eileen already spilled the beans about her bedroom relationship with Victor.
Eileen will see what other info she can pry out of Victor during pillow talk, so she’ll be playing a very dangerous game.
Over with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), she’ll tell Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) that “she’s” going down first.
It sounds like Eileen will face a downfall of her own once she’s served her purpose.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will also have a confession to make when she meets up with her deputy mayor.
Since they were all just biding their time until Eileen could prove useful, Laura will confirm she’s been playing her and won’t be a bit sorry about it.
As for Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), GH spoilers say she’ll face some horror. Felicia and Anna will offer up some new Victor-related details that leave Lucy shocked and appalled.
Finally, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will grill Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) after spotting her with Selina Wu (Lydia Look), so he’ll demand to know what Gladys was doing with her.
General Hospital spoilers say Gladys will land on the hot seat, but things will get worse once the truth about her gambling debt and abuse of Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) guardianship come out.
