General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, July 21, indicates that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will corner Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) and complain about just how far those pills pushed Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) over the edge.
This wasn’t the outcome Gladys had in mind, but Dr. Montague will basically push her to shut up and let him take it from here.
Sasha will undergo a psych evaluation that brings out some tough emotions since she just won’t understand what happened.
When Sasha had that hallucination of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), it felt incredibly real to her.
Sasha will have tears running down her cheeks as she talks about how she had to stop Cyrus, but now she’ll realize she was actually hurting Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).
Of course, Cody won’t hold what happened against Sasha and will just want to make sure she gets the help she needs.
Sasha will remain in danger as long as she’s under Dr. Montague’s care, but let’s hope the truth about his unethical actions will come out soon.
The same goes for Gladys since she deserves to pay!
At the Port Charles Grill, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will hint about the importance of trust and will make it clear that people who let him down always regret it.
Although Sonny saved Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) from Gordon Stevens (Maurice Hall), he’ll let Austin know that he can be an enemy, too.
Sonny’s awkward toast will leave Austin uneasy, but Ava Jerome (Maura West) will urge the doc not to worry in the aftermath.
Since Sasha is in crisis at GH, it won’t be long until Sonny and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) get updates on what happened at the Metro Court pool.
Sonny will apparently get Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) on the phone immediately since Sasha could use a lawyer right about now.
Once Diane makes it to the hospital, she’ll cross paths with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and will once again express confidence in her abilities as a defense attorney.
After Nina hears the news about Sasha’s unhinged outburst, she’ll rush to GH as well. Nina will be eager to see Sasha if they’ll let her and hopefully offer some comfort during this difficult time.
At Pentonville, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will stay on guard when it comes to Cyrus’ agenda and what he might be plotting.
On the bright side, Drew’s spirits will be lifted once Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) comes to see him.
That said, it’ll be bittersweet since both Carly and Drew will be so worried about each other.
Carly may voice her concerns about Cyrus and any other threats lurking behind bars, but Drew will try to convince her that everything is under control.
Once Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) tracks Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) down, she’ll receive some horrifying news. Sonny will probably mention Sasha’s ordeal to Dex, who can fill Josslyn in as well.
It turns out Dex will also get some new orders on Friday’s episode. Dex’s mission might involve getting to the bottom of whatever mess Austin is stuck in with his cousin, Mason Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth).
You can bet Josslyn will want Dex to be extra careful, especially since she’ll think Sonny was the real target during all the pool chaos.
Despite the cops leaning in Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) direction now, Josslyn will push Dex to acknowledge that Sonny was the target instead.
Back at the hospital, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will reel over his partial paralysis and will quickly notice that nobody around him seems taken aback.
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) may confess that they knew this was a possible complication, but they’ll try to help Curtis cope as best as they can.
General Hospital spoilers say Curtis’ full recovery should still be possible with time, physical therapy and maybe even a miracle, but he’ll have to suffer for now.
