General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, May 22, teases that Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will summon Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) with urgent news, but it should be a bit of a fake-out. Gregory may keep quiet about his ALS aka Lou Gehrig’s disease and spill something else to Finn instead.
Meanwhile, Chase will share a meal with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), who’ll lay down the law.
Tracy won’t want to see Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) get jerked around, so she’ll push Chase to either get past his issues with BLQ or let her go.
This should be the motivation Chase needs to find Brook Lynn and make a romantic plea, so don’t miss his upcoming decision.
Until then, Gregory will find himself evenly matched in a battle of wits, so it sounds like he’ll have a lively debate with Tracy on Monday’s episode.
Other GH spoilers say Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will deliver a proposal to Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and hope it’s enough to avoid her wrath.
Now that Gladys has had some stroke of inspiration involving Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his business dealings, Selina will be intrigued.
Gladys may not be able to avoid paying the $85,000 that she owes, but she might cut that amount down significantly or delay the payment deadline.
Then again, Selina is awfully tough to impress, so she may see through Gladys’ stall tactic and force her to pay up after all.
That could leave Gladys desperate enough to dip into Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) bank account or assets.
Regardless, Gladys is in way over her head and keeps going behind Sonny’s back, so she’s only digging a bigger hole for herself.
Over with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), she’ll express how frustrated she’s become with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), but Sonny will have positive updates on his end since Michael’s willing to establish peace.
However, that peace comes with a stipulation, so Sonny may admit he can’t advocate for Nina when it comes to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) – though Michael can’t sabotage Nina and Willow’s bond either.
Sonny and Michael intend to stay out of the way when it comes to any decision Willow might make about Nina in the future.
When Nina expresses her fear that Sonny will begin to see Michael’s perspective and shove her aside, Sonny will shut down the idea.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will propose marriage to convince Nina that he’s in this for the long haul, so she’ll have a lot to mull over.
Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will give Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) a great deal to consider as well, so she’ll thank him for what he did behind the scenes at Home and Heart.
It looks like Sasha will want to renew her friendship with Cody, but he’ll struggle since he knows dirty Gladys framed him for theft.
Until Sasha can see that Gladys is up to no good, Cody may worry they won’t be able to get on the same page.
Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will also hit a bump in the road, so there’ll be some hostility to work through when it comes to their romance and all the SEC chaos.
While Drew and Carly make a pact to stick together, Michael and Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) bond will be falling apart.
Josslyn will insist she’s furious with Michael for reneging on his deal with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and putting him at risk of Sonny’s retaliation.
Although Josslyn will believe Dex is trapped, Michael won’t agree since he could still flee from Port Charles. Josslyn will admit Dex agreed to stay for her, so Michael will ask how she could do that to him.
Since Josslyn also went to Sonny and pushed him to fire Dex, Michael may worry she’s made an already risky situation even riskier!
General Hospital spoilers say Josslyn will ultimately threaten to hand over the incriminating evidence and sink Sonny herself, so stay tuned.
