The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) could become a secret spiller once again. B&B fans know Douglas often finds himself in tricky situations where he learns too much and becomes part of the adult drama.
Most recently, Douglas found out Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) called CPS on himself using the voice app.
It was Douglas who first figured out that Thomas framed Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) to make Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) reunite with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).
Further back, Douglas witnessed Brooke kissing “Santa Claus” aka Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) in a Santa hat and spilled the beans.
We can’t forget Douglas was responsible for the truth about Beth Spencer (Jordyn Lynn Ariza) coming out as well.
It just seems like B&B writers love to put shocking info in Douglas’ hands and let him run with it.
Since Douglas’ parents are now involved in a storyline that could turn scandalous, it’s a good time for him to rejoin the action.
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) blew his top when he saw Thomas and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) in a compromising position, but there was an innocent explanation.
Things may not be quite so innocent the next time Hope and Thomas get caught!
What if Douglas witnesses a moment between Hope and Thomas that’s too close for comfort? Could Douglas spy Thomas and Hope going too far?
Thomas assured Liam that even if Hope came onto him, he’d reject a romance between them.
This could be the show’s chance to put Thomas to the test and potentially watch him fail.
If Douglas sees a kiss or hears some confessions about their feelings, he might have new hope for a future between Hope and Thomas.
Since Douglas has admitted he’d like to be a “real family” with his mom and dad, this could be his big chance to make that happen.
Douglas might be tempted to spill what he knows to Liam and ask his stepdad to step aside.
Perhaps Douglas could insist that Hope wants to be with Thomas and explain what he saw or overheard.
Of course, this could also turn into a tough dilemma for Douglas since he won’t want to ruin Thomas and Hope’s progress.
The last thing Douglas wants to do is create tension between Hope and Thomas again, so he’d have to proceed with caution.
That could lead to Douglas sitting on the secret for a while instead – at least until he has a chance to play matchmaker and bring his parents even closer.
Maybe Douglas will finally start following in Thomas’ previously shady footsteps.
Douglas might hope he can fully convince Thomas and Hope that they belong together before finding a way to spill the news to Liam.
Regardless, it makes sense for Douglas to witness a kiss or other passionate moment between Hope and Thomas.
Douglas may score some hope for the family he desires and see a path to pushing Liam out of the picture.
