The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will soon have a reason to shift his attention back to Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). B&B fans know Liam has been focused on Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) lately, but his torn heart could once again become an issue.
Ever since John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) showed signs of weakness and gave Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) signs of hope, Liam has tried to step up and become Steffy’s protector.
We all know how much Liam loves helping damsels in distress, so that’s part of why he’s been pulled back in Steffy’s direction.
Of course, the other part involves Hope’s betrayal with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), which Liam ultimately decided he couldn’t get past.
However, if Liam can forgive Steffy for sleeping with Bill Spencer (Scott Clifton), then he should be able to forgive Hope for her mistakes, too!
Liam has made plenty of mistakes of his own, so the fact that he wouldn’t forgive Hope was hypocritical anyway.
Steffy is currently in Europe, so that might also be a factor if Liam gets drawn closer to Hope.
Liam doesn’t have his backup love interest around right now, so he may get tired of waiting and concentrate on Hope again.
That’s especially true once Sheila and Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) engagement news starts to spread.
Liam may have concerns about Hope landing in danger – and she certainly could if Sheila decides Deacon’s daughter is in her way!
It’d be a bad idea for Sheila to target Hope since it would turn Deacon against her, but logic tends to go out the window when she’s dealing with matters of the heart.
Sheila isn’t known for rational behavior and good decision-making, so she might get fed up with Hope and target her eventually.
That could at least become a fear for Liam and make him decide to step up as Hope’s protector once more. Thomas surely wouldn’t like that very much since he considers himself Hope’s protector now.
It’s easy to see how Liam could get territorial about Hope and perhaps open his heart to the possibility of reconciliation.
Regardless, Liam and Thomas might find themselves competing to be Hope’s hero once all the Sheila danger seems too close.
