The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) have been stressed over something important lately. B&B fans know that Amelia (last played by Nicola Posener) was Steffy and Finn’s longtime nanny, but she’s moved on and left them in need of a new one.
This is obviously building to some sort of storyline since Amelia was mostly an offscreen nanny anyway.
Since fans haven’t seen Amelia in so long, there’s no need to make a change unless it relates to the story somehow.
Of course, it’s possible the nanny departure is simply meant to show that Finn and Steffy are running short on help at the moment.
It could be used as a reason for Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) to pitch in more with Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) and spend more time around Steffy as a result.
Then again, maybe this is more about who’ll be in charge of the kids now that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) is free.
Sheila might work behind the scenes and make sure someone gets hired who’ll help with her agenda.
However, we also have to consider the possibility that Sheila herself will ultimately apply for that nanny position.
If Sheila dons a disguise that’s good enough, she might hope she can trick Finn and Steffy into letting her slide in the nanny role.
That would mean dumbing down Steffy and Finn so they wouldn’t recognize Sheila in a new getup, but this is B&B we’re talking about.
They had Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) sleep with disguised Sheila without knowing it was her.
Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) also met Sheila when she was posing as “Lina” and didn’t connect the dots.
To this day, Hope still doesn’t know that “Lina” was Sheila, so it’s not unreasonable to think that Sheila could wear a new disguise and get by without being recognized.
Sheila might hope she can score nanny access and bond with Hayes Finnegan (Iliana and Vienna Norris) since that’s her grandson.
Even though Sheila is growing a bit closer to Finn, you can bet Steffy will be extremely protective of Hayes and keep up the current ban on her children.
That could force Sheila to get creative, so maybe she’ll work this disguised nanny angle and hope she can score more Hayes time.
