The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 28, teases that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be on the hunt for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), so Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton) will offer a hint since she saw Diane going upstairs after a faceoff with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Since Kyle won’t find Diane on the roof, he’ll assume she might’ve gone to a suite.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will also search for Diane – and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will realize they haven’t seen Phyllis in a while either.
After talking to the front desk, Summer will reveal that there’s a room registered to Phyllis’ name.
While Kyle, Summer and Jack eventually head upstairs together, Diane will look in the suite Phyllis sent her to and realize there’s no sign of sick Kyle.
Once Phyllis appears, Diane will call her out for lying and try to head for the door.
However, Phyllis will refuse to let Diane pass and will push her back on the nearby settee.
The showdown will escalate as Phyllis talks about how Diane should’ve said dead and how they all forgot about her.
Phyllis will act like Diane only came back to steal everything that mattered to her, but Diane will think Phyllis is the delusional one who caused her own problems.
Although Phyllis will continue to believe everyone’s going to see Diane’s true colors soon, Diane will argue that Phyllis is the only “evil bitch” there.
When Diane tries to leave, Phyllis will grab her arm to stop her.
Diane will slap Phyllis as this turns into a catfight – one that’ll end with Diane gripping Phyllis by the throat and snarling about how she should do the world a favor and strangle her to death.
Once Jack, Kyle and Summer walk through the door, they’ll all look shocked over Diane’s threat and strangling attempt.
Back down at the gala, Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) will catch up with Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) before turning her attention to Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) nearby.
Y&R spoilers say Nina will rage at Abby for cheating on Chance with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), the one person that’d hurt him the most.
Abby will insist it was never her intention to hurt Chance, but Nina will remain outraged.
In the end, Nina will suggest she hopes Chance can get past what Abby did since Nina herself never will!
Afterward, Nina will join Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), Christine and some other partygoers, so that’ll lead to a reminder about Nina’s own scandalous history.
Over with Leanna, she’ll interrupt Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) evening with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), so that’ll turn into a grilling session about Chelsea’s love life and career plans.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will drag Chelsea away from the conversation, but it won’t be enough to truly settle Chelsea down.
Once Chelsea is alone with Billy, she’ll break down crying and run out of the party.
Billy will follow Chelsea and urge her to breathe, so she’ll be embarrassed once she’s calm again.
After Billy reassures Chelsea, he’ll insist on leaving the party with her and taking her home.
Inside, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will be pleased as he looks across the room and sees Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) getting along with Devon.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will also share a dance with Nate as he tries to inject some romance back into their night.
Meanwhile, Jill will want to celebrate Devon’s decision to drop the lawsuit and get along with Lily, but he’ll urge her to hold off on breaking open an expensive bottle of bubbly.
There’ll still be a lot to sort out, but Devon will think the important thing is he has Lily back in his life.
Nevertheless, Devon will point out that if anything jeopardizes his relationship with Lily again, it has to be gone.
That’ll leave Jill concerned about Devon walking away from Chancellor-Winters, but both Devon and Lily will act like they have to take things one step at a time.
Jill will ultimately meet up with Victor and offer updates, so she’ll admit things are up in the air when it comes to what happens with McCall Unlimited.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will hint about Sharon finding a dance partner.
That’ll lead to Adam offering to play wingman if Chance shows up, so Sharon will acknowledge the detective is attractive and that she might’ve been interested in another lifetime.
Sharon will quickly add that she’s just friends with Chance and will act like her life is perfectly full already, especially since she’s got a new grandbaby.
Later, Adam will glare as Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) share some romantic moments.
After Adam flashes back to his rooftop dinner with Sally, he’ll seem glum.
Y&R spoilers say Adam and Sally could still have a future together after all, so that could mean good news for “Ally” fans!
