The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, January 13, reveals that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will avoid drinking alcohol during her dinner with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) by acting like she wants to stay sharp for her meeting with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) tomorrow.
Nick will give Sally some tips since he knows what Jill wants and expects. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will walk in at one point, so Nick will suggest leaving Society and going somewhere else.
However, Sally won’t see the harm in staying as long as everyone behaves.
Adam will end up at the bar alone, but Sally will eventually take Nick back to her suite once the conversation takes a steamy turn.
In Sally’s hotel room, she’ll help Nick get undressed before spotting the prenatal vitamin bottle that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) left on the coffee table.
Sally will manage to get Nick into the bathroom for a shower hookup without alerting him to anything out of the ordinary.
That’ll give Sally a chance to hide the prenatal vitamin bottle, so Y&R spoilers say she’ll dodge a bullet for now.
Next, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will pay Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) a visit to blast her for blowing up his life.
After Tucker expresses his disappointment and warns that he won’t forget it, Audra will wonder if that’s a threat.
Tucker will insist it’s a promise, but Audra will act like she did her job perfectly and will put the blame on Tucker for being so shady.
If Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) hadn’t been paranoid, he might’ve brushed off the same text tone as a coincidence.
Tucker will still be there moping when Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) shows up at Audra’s door, so Nate will wonder what’s going on.
Once Tucker leaves, Audra will admit her professional and personal relationship with him as she explains everything to Nate.
After Audra shares how she was supposed to help Tucker take over Chancellor-Winters before their plan failed, Nate will realize she lied to him by omission. Audra will suggest she just wanted a chance to prove her worth before the truth came out.
Although Audra will understand if Nate wants to take back his COO offer, he’ll stand by it and will seem like he still admires her go-getter mentality.
At Crimson Lights, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will talk to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) while they wait on updates from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), who’ll be headed to Chicago to carry out the jewelry mission.
Kyle will worry since it’ll seem like Diane is still getting a kick out of the game, but she’ll assure Kyle that those days are behind her.
Diane will want to be done with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) for good and will head off for drinks with him.
Afterward, Kyle will run into Tucker and taunt him about losing everything.
Tucker won’t be ready to give up on Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), so Kyle will think he’d better hurry since she’s leaving for Paris tonight.
At the Abbott house, Tucker will beg Ashley to hear him out, so she’ll reluctantly let him make a speech about how he only wanted her happiness.
Despite Tucker’s apology and plea for Ashley to stay, she won’t be interested.
Ashley will acknowledge that she was starting to feel something for Tucker again, but she’ll ultimately yank his scarf off angrily and snap at him for not being straight with her.
Since Ashley will have a plane to catch, she’ll convince Tucker to leave and will shut the door on him.
Back with Kyle, he’ll goad Adam about Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) choosing the superior Newman brother before Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) appears for a meeting with Kyle.
That’ll leave Adam suspicious, but Victor will act like he just wants to be kept up to speed on Kyle’s family.
Once Victor speaks with Kyle privately, he’ll get to the point and note that they both disapprove of Adam’s role at Jabot.
Victor will think they should see what they can do to remedy that.
At The Glam Club, Jeremy will push for details on Diane’s crime since her deadline is rapidly approaching.
Diane will claim she’s headed to Chicago to steal some exquisite and expensive jewelry from Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), so Jeremy will approve of the news.
Jeremy will want to know how Diane plans to pull this off, but she’ll convince him that she’s still quite the insider and can make it happen.
Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will spy Diane with Jeremy before taking a pic of them together using her phone.
Later, Phyllis will meet with Nikki to fill her in on Jack making out with Diane – and then she’ll show off the pic of Diane looking cozy with Jeremy.
Phyllis will point out that Ashley is leaving town for a few weeks and will ask Nikki how they’re going to get rid of Diane.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Phyllis’ desire for payback will lead to more trouble, so stay tuned to Y&R.
