The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of January 16-20 teases that Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) will have questions when he walks in on a tense moment at Jabot.
It looks like Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will be in the middle of a serious fight when Daniel appears, so he’ll feel like a bomb just went off in there!
Daniel’s surprise arrival will shut down the argument – at least temporarily.
Of course, that won’t fix the bigger issue of Summer’s disapproval of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and all the drama she keeps causing.
Now that Kyle is on the verge of teaming up with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) against Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), that could also present a problem if Summer’s not on board.
Regardless, Summer and Kyle just aren’t in sync when it comes to their marriage anymore, so they’ll inevitably worry about the future.
Daniel may speak from personal experience and advise Summer to fix things before the damage gets any worse.
Meanwhile, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will have some updates for Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway), so he’ll admit some unexpected news regarding his desire to dissolve the merger.
It turns out Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will come back with a counterproposal for Devon and hope they’ll all come out winners through it.
However, it won’t be exactly what Devon asked for, so he may grow frustrated over being forced into another situation that’s beyond his control.
Devon wants total autonomy at Hamilton-Winters again, but Lily and Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) curveball will make things complicated.
After Devon admits he didn’t see this coming, he’ll fill Abby in on his latest dilemma and get some guidance.
Other Y&R spoilers say Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) will want to seal his new partnership with a kiss, so that’ll back Diane into a corner.
After Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) hands off Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) stolen jewelry, Diane will pass it off as her own crime and impress Jeremy.
That should be enough to lock in this alliance, but how far will Diane be willing to go for the next step?
Diane will make out with Jeremy, but chances are good he won’t want to stop there.
If Jeremy pushes Diane to make love, she may have to decide whether she’ll talk her way out of the jam or sleep with him as part of her sneaky plan.
