The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, January 30, teases that Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will share in Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) joy as they gush over a new ultrasound photo. However, it’ll be easy for Tessa and Mariah to tell that Elena isn’t quite herself.
Elena will eventually open up about Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) decision to hire untrustworthy Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Mariah won’t have anything nice to say about Audra either since Noah Newman’s (Rory Gibson) relationship with her ended in disaster.
Tessa will question if Audra wants Nate for herself, but Elena won’t think there’s any risk of cheating.
Even so, Elena will feel like there are good reasons to be concerned about Audra bringing out the worst in Nate and playing up his need for power.
At Newman Media, Nate will grill Audra about her meeting with Tucker and worry about who exactly she’s working for.
Audra will assure Nate that he’s the only one and will suggest she only took the meeting to find out more about Tucker’s agenda.
After Audra spills what she knows about Tucker’s interest in the gaming project, Nate will feel like she’s in the prime position to help their own plans.
It’ll be obvious that Nate’s on a power trip, but Audra will seem like she’s loving this side of him.
At Society, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will sense that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is keeping something from her, but he’ll blame his bad mood on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) standing against his romance with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Victoria will end up being negative about Nick’s future with Sally as well, but he’ll shut her down.
Nick just won’t understand all the attacks and will get some troubling updates when Sally calls from LA.
Once Nick finds out Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) abruptly canceled on Sally and wouldn’t let her make a pitch, he’ll suspect Victor was involved.
At Newman Enterprises, Victor will downplay Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) concerns about his manipulation of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Victor will also gripe about Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) breaking in their apartment in Chicago, but Nikki will be willing to let that slide since Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) is behind bars where he belongs.
At Jabot, Kyle will make a call regarding every account that Adam’s in charge of.
Once all the reports are sent to Kyle, he’ll look through them and seem gleeful over the pattern he finds.
Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) will spot Kyle looking engrossed and wonder what’s up, but he won’t offer much of an explanation.
Daniel Romalotti Jr (Michael Graziadei) will arrive hoping he can speak with Summer, so Kyle will avoid further questions.
Nevertheless, Summer will fear Kyle might be keeping secrets and will tell Daniel about Victor pushing Kyle to help him frame Adam.
Daniel will also fill Summer in on his latest Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) fiasco, but he’ll seem to feel a bit better after venting.
Phyllis will also grumble to Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) at Society, where they’ll both think she was out of line for going behind Daniel’s back.
Phyllis, on the other hand, will act like she was simply being proactive and helping Daniel keep his gaming platform on track.
After Phyllis suddenly gets an idea, she’ll announce that she’s going to reach out to Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and convince her to take Daniel back.
Despite Lauren and Michael’s warnings, Phyllis will insist on catching a flight to Portugal.
That way, Phyllis can talk to Heather and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) in person.
Back with Kyle, he’ll tell Victor about Adam’s less-than-impressive reports.
Since Adam’s performance is unbelievably mediocre across the board, Victor will absorb that info and consider how he can use it in his favor.
Afterward, Nick will interrogate Victor about his sabotage. Victor will play dumb, but Nick will demand to know if he sank Sally’s chance to pitch to Jill Abbott (Jess Walton).
Victoria will also get big news from Nate, who’ll explain that he wants to acquire Daniel’s gaming platform if Chancellor-Winters loses it.
Once Victoria gets on board, Nate will confess there’s a snag since Tucker is also interested – though he’ll have a plan to handle that.
On Monday’s Y&R episode, Victoria won’t be worried about Tucker at all and will act like Nate should just leave Tucker to her.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Tucker could be a more formidable foe than the Newmans realize, so stay tuned.
