The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton) will refuse to leave the bicentennial gala without a real shocker. Leanna is someone who loves to shake things up, so she’ll be determined to score a bombshell and will drag Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) into drama as a result.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) convinced Sharon to be his last-minute party date in hopes of making the night more enjoyable.
If having Sharon on Adam’s arm makes Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) jealous, that’s just a bonus!
Unfortunately, Sharon’s decision to accept Adam’s offer could bring more trouble than she bargained for.
Thanks to Leanna and all her snooping, Sharon might become the one to inadvertently leak Sally’s pregnancy secret and unleash some paternity chaos.
In Y&R’s March 24 episode, Sharon already proved a bit careless by mentioning Champagne and acting like it was insensitive since Sally can’t have any.
It was rather risky to have that conversation on the red carpet in front of all those reporters.
Sally herself suggested skipping alcohol for the next few months would be worth it.
There’s a chance Leanna will become privy to the hints that were offered and realize she has to dig deeper.
Regardless, Leanna will end up cornering Sharon as she searches for the hottest scoop possible.
We’ll see Leanna put Sharon through a grilling session, so there’ll be an opportunity for Sharon to spill too much.
It’s easy to imagine Leanna trying to trick Sharon by acting like she knows more than she actually does.
Sharon might fall for it and inadvertently confirm Sally’s pregnancy along with the paternity depending on how it all goes down.
Of course, it’s also possible Leanna will only get half the story.
Leanna might think she’s got major news and prepare to report on Nick’s latest child – only to discover Sally’s having Adam’s baby instead.
Sally, Adam or even Nick may have to set the record straight with Leanna to avoid making things worse with misinformation.
If this scandal is going to explode, the public might as well know everything from the get-go.
