The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) have another round of conflict coming up, which could set the stage for a far worse crisis.
Y&R fans know Kyle and Summer haven’t been in sync for a while now.
Kyle has been taking far too many risks as far as Summer’s concerned, so she really doesn’t like this reckless side of her husband.
Once Summer realizes Kyle deceived her about his alliance with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), it’ll add to their problems.
Kyle acted like he was going to back off, but he’ll supply Victor with info against Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and get busted instead.
Of course, that’ll inevitably cause a huge fight. Kyle and Summer have been clashing more than usual – mostly due to Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) past hurling a tornado of danger at their family.
The Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) setup drama really crossed the line in Summer’s book.
Since Summer has been so fearful, she may be the one who lands in the most danger when Jeremy wiggles out of the charges against him.
Jeremy has a return stint in the works, so he may avoid justice and come back to Genoa City on a mission.
Jeremy might decide to kidnap someone important to the Abbotts and maybe even get a ransom out of it.
Summer would make sense as a kidnapping target here. Kyle would be too strong and might be able to fight back more than Jeremy wants.
Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) is too young, so it’d be a pain trying to care for a child in captivity.
Summer would perhaps be the best option, especially since she’s also Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) daughter.
Phyllis is the person who lured Jeremy to GC in the first place, so Jeremy might determine that she needs to suffer, too.
Regardless, Summer’s kidnapping would blow up the Abbott family since Kyle would panic over his wife being in harm’s way.
This might be enough to make Kyle understand the consequences of having Diane in his life.
Kyle could blame Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) for their terrible plan, which obviously riled Jeremy up and made sure he’d want payback.
Since Jeremy knows Diane values her relationship with Kyle more than anything, it’d be sweet revenge to ruin that for her.
By turning Kyle against Diane with a Summer snatching, Jeremy would win big.
Plus, Jeremy could make the Abbotts and maybe even the Newmans pay for Summer’s safe return.
