The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, March 28, tease that Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) will return for the gala, which is already underway. Although Nina will want to celebrate Genoa City’s bicentennial, she’ll also make time for some drama while she’s back in town.
Y&R fans know Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) betrayed Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), which was the final straw for their struggling marriage.
Now that Abby is divorced from Chance and attending the bash with Devon, Nina will have some harsh words for her.
Of course, Nina isn’t exactly the scariest person around, but she’ll still make it known that she disapproves of the way Abby hurt Chance.
We’ll see Abby face Nina’s fury and understand why she’d be protective of her son in this situation.
Next, Nina will have a heartfelt reunion with Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell), who seems to be keeping a secret or two.
Christine’s marriage may be in trouble based on a few new hints.
Since Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) quietly retired from the GCPD and is now visiting Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) as well as Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) in Portugal, Christine may spill all that to Nina.
Plus, Christine just might become GC’s district attorney again since she needs a change.
Nina knows Christine better than just about anyone, so she may suspect Christine needs a change in other ways, too.
Christine could easily admit that she’s split from Paul since he’s obviously been written out.
Could that open the door to Christine reconnecting with Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) during his own return trip to Genoa City?
Over with Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton), she’ll play spy games and hope for some jaw-dropping news.
Leanna will be quite curious about the drama that’s going on between Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) upstairs.
However, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will do his best to steer Leanna in another direction and keep the vulture away from his family.
After Diane realizes she’s been duped and lured up to a suite, she’ll lash out at Phyllis.
Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) stressed the importance of getting Diane up there, so maybe he’ll want her to leave DNA proof behind for the setup that’s brewing.
