The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, March 27, teases that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will beg Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) to step outside the party and try working things out. Devon will indeed step out with Lily, but he really won’t see what’s left to talk about.
After Devon mentions that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) changed her mind about the IPO because of Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Lily will insist Victor’s cared about Devon since he was a teenager.
Even so, Devon will struggle to get past their issues since Lily tried to hurt him.
Lily will be sorry about the Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) situation and will insist this can’t be the thing that breaks them.
After a jazz song plays that Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) used to like, Devon will note that it’s Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (Rainn and River Ware) favorite now, too.
Lily will think that’s a sign and will once again push Devon to get past all the tension. In the end, Devon will agree to drop the lawsuit as he hugs Lily and exchanges apologies with her.
In Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) GCAC suite, he’ll insist they need to get Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) engagement ring since it’s the perfect final touch for the scene they’re setting.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) won’t know how they’re supposed to acquire it since Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) put it in his jacket pocket, but Jeremy will vow to handle it.
In the lounge on Monday’s Y&R episode, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will approach Jack and Diane on the dancefloor.
After Michael suggests a dance-off, it’ll create enough of a distraction for masked Jeremy to brush past Jack and seemingly swipe the ring as he goes.
Jack and Diane will suspect Jeremy is the man underneath the mask, but Diane will advise against confronting him.
Since Diane will be eager to get Jack’s mind on something else, she’ll suggest announcing their engagement after all.
Jack will remain determined to speak with security, so he’ll head off to take care of this first.
That’ll give Phyllis a chance to corner Diane alone and claim Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) is sick in a suite upstairs with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier).
Diane will accuse Phyllis of lying since she just saw Kyle on the dancefloor looking like the picture of health.
Phyllis will insist that Kyle is now nauseated, sweaty and glassy-eyed, so she’ll suggest Diane can help convince him to see a doctor.
Since Diane will remain skeptical over the news, she’ll text Kyle to see what he has to say.
It turns out Jeremy will get his hands on Kyle’s phone, so Diane will seem torn when she gets no response.
Phyllis will act like Kyle is too out of it to text back and will give Diane the room number so she can go up alone. However, Phyllis will sneak up after Diane moments later.
After failing to convince Jack and Diane to do a story on their reunion, Leanna Love (Barbara Crampton) will be on the hunt for another hot scoop.
Once Leanna sees Phyllis chase after Diane upstairs, she’ll seem intrigued.
When Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) approaches Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) table, he’ll approve all Chelsea’s new game ideas.
Daniel will also talk about giving Lily some space after the dedication, so Billy will be glad she’s got someone looking out for her who’s sensitive to her feelings.
Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will seem curious when she realizes Billy and Chelsea are at the gala together, but Billy will confirm that they came as pals.
That’ll lead to Chelsea teasing Billy a bit once Jill walks away.
Next, Summer will get a phone call from Harrison Abbott’s (Kellen Enriquez) nanny, so she’ll reveal that Zippy the stuffed fox is missing.
Once Zippy’s found in the pool house, Kyle and Summer will be relieved over the averted crisis.
Daniel will eventually find Summer, so they’ll compare notes over Phyllis’ strange behavior and wonder if they’ve been too hard on her.
Kyle will insist that Summer and Daniel did the right thing by setting boundaries.
Over with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), she’ll push Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) buttons about Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and urge Elena to keep an eye on her.
Elena will interrupt Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) close moment with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and plant a kiss on her boyfriend like she’s marking her territory.
After Victoria walks away, Elena will get updates on the lounge dedication to Neil.
Although Elena will try to carry on a conversation with Nate, she’ll get irritated when he can’t stop looking over at Victoria and the Newmans.
Nate will apologize and act like a business deal is on his mind, but Elena will get fed up and head off to mingle without him.
When Elena crosses paths with Audra again, she’ll admit she’s been thinking about Audra’s idea regarding J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill).
Elena will decide maybe it’s not a bad idea to interview Victoria’s ex for her medical podcast.
Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will make it clear to the Newmans that he’d prefer to sell McCall Unlimited to Devon, but he’ll tell Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) that everything will work out how it’s supposed to.
As for Victor, he’ll try to stop Victoria and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) bickering about McCall Unlimited and promote family peace.
Meanwhile, Lauren and Michael will talk to Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) about Paul Williams’ (Doug Davidson) retirement as the chief of police.
After Christine says Paul is visiting Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) in Portugal, she’ll admit she’s thinking of going back to her old job as the district attorney.
Although Christine will note that she hasn’t accepted the offer yet, she’ll feel like it’s time for a change.
