Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) has been struggling without his soulmate ever since Abigail DiMera (last played by Marci Miller) suffered a grim fate.
Although Chad tried to move on with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), their relationship failed because she was always living in Abigail’s shadow.
Chad wasn’t ready to marry Stephanie and may never be ready to marry anyone else ever again.
It’s clear that Chad’s heart still belongs to Abigail, so Days spoilers say he’ll be deeply moved over a discovery related to her during the week of May 13-17.
That’s when Chad will stumble across Abigail’s journal, so he may read some revealing entries that highlight just how much she loved him back.
Once Chad looks through that journal, he may be more convinced than ever that moving on just isn’t possible.
This seems like it’ll serve as the kickoff to Abigail’s return storyline since Days insider buzz points to the role being recast.
AnnaLynne McCord is set to make her DOOL debut in the not-too-distant future, but things may not be quite as they seem with her character.
Deadline originally announced McCord had signed a one-year contract to play the role of Marin. There was an interesting description to go with that character name as well, so let’s take a closer look at it.
Marin was said to be a “fascinating and complicated woman who is devastatingly beautiful, almost angelic in her outward appearance.
The desire of many but her heart belongs to only one man who continues to push her away for her own good.”
On the surface, that doesn’t sound like a good fit for the situation Chad and Abigail are facing, but it’s possible the whole description is a fake-out that’s meant to disguise the recast ahead of AnnaLynne McCord’s first appearance.
It’s also possible that Abigail has amnesia or some form of brainwashing.
What if Abigail has no memory of her past with Chad and currently goes by Marin instead?
In that case, perhaps “Marin” aka Abigail really has become the desire of many men off-screen somewhere.
“Marin” may be in love with another guy who’s pushing her away, which could mean Chad will face quite a mess!
Chad might find himself dealing with multiple problems if Abigail’s crazy about someone else and doesn’t even remember the family she left behind.
That would certainly make sense as an explanation for why Abigail hasn’t returned to Chad and the kids.
Regardless, what started out as social media speculation has grown into something more when it comes to AnnaLynne McCord’s upcoming debut.
Days insiders are now dropping some big hints that McCord’s character will turn out to be an Abigail recast.
