Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that in the episode that aired on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) dropped a clue about his past. Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) recalls Everett having insomnia in Seattle.
However, Everett mentioned that the coma solved that issue. So, could Everett’s insomnia explain his marriage to Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu)? Maybe Everett isn’t as slimy as the storyline is making him out to be.
Stephanie Johnson’s Recollection
DOOL spoilers reveal that Stephanie and Everett got even closer during Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) family dinner.
At that time, Steve kept questioning why he didn’t know Stephanie was dating anyone in Seattle.
Stephanie also mentioned that she remembers Everett having insomnia. However, Everett made an interesting statement that could explain other things.
DOOL Spoilers: Coma Cured Insomnia
Everett told Stephanie that he used to have insomnia, just like she remembers. However, being put in a coma seems to have cured Everett’s insomnia. That is an interesting statement and by itself, wouldn’t mean much.
Everett seems to have lived two different lives in Seattle. With that being said, could the coma have “cured” something else in Everett’s brain, too?
Jada Hunter Vents
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of January 22 reveal that Everett will make a confession.
This confession could have to do with the engagement ring Stephanie found, which Everett claimed he bought for her before the accident.
However, some fans say the ring is the same one that Everett gave to Jada when they exchanged vows.
While Jada has mentioned her previous marriage to Stephanie and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), Everett has said nothing about it. This is making it seem as if Everett is trying to hide something.
When Jada mentioned being married before, she told Rafe that their careers created distance between them.
Eventually, there wasn’t much of a marriage left, just a roommate-type situation.
However, during the week of January 22, Jada tells Rafe and Stephanie all about her ex-husband. It sounds like Jada might find out that Everett is in Salem pursuing Stephanie.
Jada might even be upset that Everett didn’t look her up. Of course, Everett was in a coma and might not have realized Jada moved to Salem.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Blake Berris’ Interview
Even though Everett is being painted kind of creepy right now, the actor clarified the role. Speaking with Soap Opera Digest, Berris said that Everett is a good guy with a warm, beautiful heart. This interview was back in November 2023.
Even though Everett was married to Jada, that doesn’t mean he was seeing Stephanie at the same time.
Perhaps Everett met Stephanie after his divorce from Jada. That wouldn’t be very soapy, though.
Most likely, Everett’s insomnia might have been masking something much more serious.
Could Everett have some kind of sleep disorder that makes him act out while sleepwalking? There are some interesting legal cases using this as a defense in court.
It’s controversial, but it sounds like Everett’s coma might have actually been in his best interest. The only problem is convincing Stephanie of this, especially if he wants another chance with her.
