Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, January 15, reveal that Martin Luther King Jr. Day will be celebrated in Salem, so there’ll be a special event in town. However, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will have to take some time away from the celebration to get her biopsy results at the hospital.
Although Paulina hoped to get those results over the phone, her doctor insisted on doing this in person. That obviously seems like a bad sign about Paulina having cancer and needing urgent treatment.
As Paulina awaits the doctor’s updates, she’ll appreciate Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) comfort.
Days spoilers say Abe will go with Paulina to her appointment and no doubt hold her hand as she faces what could be very difficult news.
Meanwhile, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will cross paths with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), so the four of them will have a double date that brings a critical discussion.
To go along with the Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration, Days spoilers say Jada, Rafe, Chanel and Johnny will all talk about some race-related challenges and problems.
Over with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), he’ll take a stand in a new column that focuses on the topic of gay rights.
Leo is normally all about the gossip “Lady Whistleblower” can provide, but he’ll trade the catty comments for a more serious piece that’s close to his heart.
Next on Monday’s DOOL episode, Days spoilers say Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) will have some guidance for an anxious Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty).
Perhaps Nicole will spot Sloan out with Jude Brady and warn her not to take motherhood for granted.
Nicole lost her newborn son and is now facing the possibility of losing Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis), so she may push Sloan to savor every moment she can get with little Jude.
Of course, Nicole won’t know Jude is actually hers or that Sloan stole him.
Since Nicole’s suspicions have been put to rest, she may support Sloan’s mother-son bonding with Jude and leave Sloan feeling even guiltier.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sloan will have to choke that guilt down if she wants to keep her life with Eric intact, so stay tuned to see how long she can pull this off.
