Fire Country is fast becoming one of the most popular shows on television. The show has become so popular there is a spinoff in the works and the popular CBS series has already been renewed for a third season.
The Fire Country spinoff is expected to air later in the season. As a matter of fact Morena Baccarin will debut in Fire Country season 2 episode 6 as a sheriff and could potentially be the series lead in the new spinoff according to Deadline.

Synopsis of Fire Country season 2 episode 6 as per the CBS synopsis, “After a fire camp inmate escapes from Three Rock, the deputy sheriff with a surprising connection to the Leones, Mickey (Morena Baccarin), is called to investigate.”
The series stars Max Thieriot as Bode Donovan, a young convict who joins a prison release fire fighting program in Northern California. Kevin Alejandro as Manny Perez, Jordan Calloway as Jake Crawford, Stephanie Arcila as Gabriela Perez, Diane Farr as Sharon Leone.
Fire Country Season 2 episode 6 airs Friday, April 12 (09:00-10:00 p.m. EDT), on The CBS Network.
