In tonight’s NCIS Hawaii episode, the team was picked up by a mysterious black van. They were picked up by NCIS: ELITE. The ELITE task force was being run by Sam Hana. He normally wouldn’t have included anyone else and he was forced to do so by a situation that happened tonight.
The secret task force was in charge of a prisoner. They were holding onto Alexi Volkoff. He was also known as “the Chemist”. He was giving their government intel on the Russian missions as well as toxins he created. He was talking about Compound X when he was murdered.
He was killed in ELITE’s custody. There were about thirty people in total that knew about ELITE. Everyone on the task force was called in. There was just one person that wasn’t picking up the phone. His name was Tom Kalilko. He never entered the secret tunnels or the room it led to.
He was stationary outside. Kai and Lucy went to his house on the island. They unfortunately him dead. They also spoke with his killer who pretended to be his college roommate. He said his name was Barry. Barry gave the game away when he reached for a knife.
He threw at them before eventually getting away. NCIS looked into Tom. He ran into this Barry about three days ago. Barry got Tom to drug the supplies going into the tunnels and that’s how they killed Volkoff. Volkoff had a compromised immune system. He was around toxins for too long.
One mere herbal supplement was enough to kill him. This was how he was poisoned. ELITE was compromised because of Tom. Then Tom was killed. Kai and Lucy’s description of Barry also helped identify the killer. They don’t have a name just yet. They do on the other hand knew he was tied with the Russian mob because of his tattoo.
The tattoo got them a name. Barry’s real name was Viktor Nimerov. He worked with Gorod Bratva. It was the biggest Russian mob because it has ties all around the world. Ernie found one of their safehouses on the island. ELITE along with NCIS hit the building. They practically killed everyone inside.
There was just one survivor and it was a woman they seemed to be holding hostage. The hostage was Analisa Cruise. She has a PHD in Chemistry. She was Volkoff’s assistant. She couldn’t quit. She thought he was safe when he disappeared and unfortunately she got grabbed by the mob.
Analisa Cruise knew all about Volkoff immune deficiencies. She was forced into helping them kill him. She also help them figure out Compound X. Volkoff destroyed his own immunity to build it. I
t was a job like no other. He went in knowing it could kill him one day. Yet, he didn’t care. Volkoff has already made Compound X. Its why he was so sick that a herbal supplement could kill him. NCIS talked to Analisa. They asked her what she knew about Compound X. She said it was tasteless as well as odorless. It could kill hundreds in a contained space.
Analisa just doesn’t know where Volkoff hid it. It’s the one thing she doesn’t know. Volkoff treated her like a secretary. She made his dinner plans and kept his appointment book.
She didn’t know all of his secrets. ELITE did. They spoke with Volkoff for months. They understand his obsession with Belgrade. Belgrade was being held by the Russian mob. They have properties all over there. Tennant also has a friend there known as Milos. Milos was considered the Merchant of Belgrade. There was nothing he couldn’t provide.
Gorod Bratva also knew they were in town. Milos was contacted by Lev Federov. He was considered the Godfather because he ran Gordo Bratva. Milos may love Tennant only he still has to live in Belgrade.
He told Federov about NCIS. Tennant now has to meet with him. She has to tell him that they were looking for something and she couldn’t use her badge to intimidate him to get answers. Tennant holds no power overseas. ELITE does. ELITE went looking for Compound X. They hit chemical plants in Belgrade while Tennant was talking to Federov. Federov revealed crucial information. He revealed that they never brought Analisa to Hawaii. She was already in Hawaii when they found her. She had been there for weeks.
ELITE took Analisa with them when they collected Compound X. She waited until they let their guard and mask down to release one of the cannisters. She killed everyone but Sam. Sam had gotten a warning about Analisa. He got out in time. He couldn’t say that for his team.
