The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 9, reveals that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) told Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that his story started with “Sugar” aka Janet Webber (Kimberlin Brown).
After Finn explained the plastic surgery situation and how Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) gave Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) updates, he assured Steffy that Sugar was identical to Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) except for their toes.
Finn shared how he helped Deacon track Sheila down at that abandoned warehouse, but Steffy assumed they found Sugar instead.
Nevertheless, Finn insisted Sugar was the one who wound up deceased at the house that night.
Steffy argued that Deacon was losing it and had gotten inside Finn’s head somehow, but Finn urged her to believe all this was true.
Finn said this meant Steffy didn’t eliminate Sheila, so his birth mother was alive!
At Deacon’s place, he told Sheila they should just go to Vegas and make things official tonight.
Deacon wanted to marry Sheila as soon as possible, but he eventually noticed she was dizzy and insisted on taking her to the hospital.
Once Sheila was admitted, she heard Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) talking outside her room and asked the nurse if Dr. Finnegan could be her doctor.
Soon after, the nurse gave Li some details about a new patient asking for her named Sheila, so Li confessed that name used to send a chill down her spine.
However, Li obviously didn’t think it was the same Sheila and agreed to see the patient.
Before Li entered, Sheila yanked the sheet over herself and struggled to stifle her laughter.
Sheila clearly thought this was a hoot as Li greeted her and urged her to pull the sheet down.
After Sheila revealed her feet, Li noticed the missing toe and seemed alarmed as she ordered the patient to show her face.
At Forrester Creations, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) found a very distracted Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) in the CEO office.
When Liam asked if Hope was OK, she honestly wasn’t sure how to answer that question.
Hope ultimately confessed that Deacon was right and delivered the news about Sheila being alive.
Although Ridge thought Hope was buying Deacon’s nonsense, she said she passed out at the sight of Sheila and actually spoke with her.
Hope shared what she’d learned about lookalike Sugar perishing instead and thought it was crazy to find out Sheila was a victim in all this.
Ridge objected to Hope using the word “victim” to describe Sheila and had a hard time believing her claims.
Liam was thrown for a loop as well on Thursday’s B&B episode, but Hope insisted she knew for certain that Sheila Carter lived on!
