The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Monday, November 18, reveals that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will assure Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that she only covered up her actions for the kids and that she’s not sorry she told him the truth.
Sharon will push Nick to call Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) for her, so he’ll get Chance on the phone and summon him for help with a situation at Sharon’s place.
At the hospital, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will worry since Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will still be unconscious following the crash.
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will talk about the tests they’re running and will mention that a neurologist is coming for Phyllis.
After Phyllis’ CT scan, Elena will offer updates on her contrecoup brain injury and will suggest they’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
Of course, Summer and Daniel will also mull over Phyllis seemingly getting forced off the road right near Sharon’s house.
Chance will advise against jumping to conclusions before taking off to see what Nick wants.
However, Daniel will think all this is a little too coincidental and will suspect Sharon is to blame for what happened to Phyllis.
By Phyllis’ bedside, Summer and Daniel will beg Phyllis to come back to them since they won’t want to bury someone else they love.
Back at the cottage, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will come home and see that Sharon has been crying.
While Sharon is changing clothes, she’ll push Nick to tell Faith what’s going on.
Once Sharon is upstairs, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will arrive with plenty of questions as well.
Nick will stun Faith and Mariah with the news that Sharon just confessed to killing Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).
After Faith shuts down that idea, she’ll blame Phyllis for making Sharon paranoid and act like she must’ve made her believe this.
Nick won’t want to point fingers right now, especially with Phyllis in the hospital.
When Sharon comes back down, she’ll hug Faith and confirm that it’s the awful truth.
Chance will show up and push for answers, so Sharon will insist she framed Daniel and that she should be arrested for the murder of Heather Stevens.
At the Abbott mansion on Monday’s Y&R episode, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will discuss how they had to go to extremes to open Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) eyes.
That’s why Diane and Jack faked all the fights – to sell this to Victor and prove to Kyle that “The Moustache” only cared about getting revenge on Jack.
Diane will admit she would’ve been willing to lose everything if it meant protecting Kyle.
Kyle will still be hurt over all the nasty things that were said since they felt real to him. Finding out about this deception will take Kyle back to feeling betrayed over Diane’s faked demise.
Kyle will ultimately need some time to process everything, so he’ll head off to Society with Claire Newman (Hayley Erin).
Although Kyle will want Claire’s opinion on all this, she’ll think Kyle’s opinion is the one that matters.
Kyle will realize working with Victor was a colossal mistake, but he won’t be ready to move beyond all the pain that his parents caused – especially since it started before he ever went to Glissade.
Back with Diane, she’ll tell Jack that they may have pushed Kyle too far and lost him anyway.
Diane will also fret over some of the things Jack said and how real they felt, but he’ll assure her that it was all for show.
After Jack and Diane talk about dreaming about each other during their forced separation, Jack will insist he loves Diane more now than the day he married her.
