The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview video for the week of January 8-12 reveals that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will go on the official dinner date that Sally promised. That’ll bring another chance to grow closer and take some steps forward in their romance.
Since the date will go well, Adam will propose a toast to them as he raises a glass.
Sally will raise her own glass and agree with that toast, so she’ll enjoy flirting with Adam and slowly drop her guard a bit more.
At Crimson Lights, Y&R spoilers say Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will have a surprise encounter with Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck), who’ll offer a hug and insist she’s more beautiful than ever.
Ashley will admit she never thought she’d see Cole’s face again, so she’ll ask what brings him back to their fair city.
That’ll put Cole in the awkward position of explaining all the long-lost daughter drama.
Cole may not share every last detail, but it looks like he’ll at least admit the baby girl he thought he lost with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is still alive.
Now the challenge becomes trying to undo decades worth of damage, which won’t be an easy task.
Jordan (Colleen Zenk) really messed with Claire Grace’s (Hayley Erin) head, so it’ll remain tough for Cole and Victoria to connect with her.
However, Cole may have an easier time reconnecting with Ashley, who’ll surely have sympathy over what he’s going through.
Ashley and Cole were married once upon a time, so it’ll be interesting to see these ex-spouses catch up.
Once Ashley gets updates on the situation, she may offer Cole a pep talk and wish him luck.
At the GCAC, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will stumble around after surrendering to temptation.
Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will come along and find drunk Nikki, so she’ll apparently suggest getting Nikki back to the ranch.
Nikki will slur her words and contend that she can’t go home.
Since Nikki won’t want Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to see her inebriated, Lauren will steady her and gaze upstairs as she gets an idea.
It sounds like Lauren will take Nikki up to the suite she normally uses for all her steamy times with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc).
Lauren will help Nikki hide out from Victor until she sobers up, but she may insist Nikki needs to tell him the truth later.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki could have some bad news for Victor eventually, but he’ll keep doing his best to help her.
