The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, February 5, reveal that Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) will summon Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and create a mystery in the process. At first, Tessa may assume Abby wants her to bring Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) for a meal at Society or something along those lines.
However, Abby will clarify that she wants to meet with Tessa alone, so that’ll create more questions as they sit down together later.
Tessa will express surprise over this one-on-one meeting, but there’s a good reason why Mariah’s being left out.
Although there’s a chance this involves some sort of joint romantic surprise for Mariah and Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James), this probably involves Abby’s latest career aspirations instead.
Abby won’t have as much time to devote to Society now that she’s scored a Chancellor-Winters board seat.
It’s clear that Abby’s excited about rejoining the corporate game and making a difference with her input.
Since Abby doesn’t want the quality and service to slip at the restaurant, she could use someone she trusts to serve as manager in her absence.
Tessa had a job at Society once upon a time, so Abby may think she’d be the ideal choice.
Whatever the case, Abby will indeed have a proposal for Tessa to mull over soon.
Once Abby reveals her latest proposition, she’ll give Tessa a chance to talk it over with Mariah and figure out what she wants to do.
While Tessa faces a big decision, Y&R spoilers say Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will try to apologize to Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) and get their romance back on track.
After Danny crosses paths with Christine at the coffeehouse, he’ll push through all the uncomfortable moments and urge Christine to see that they still belong together.
Christine caught Danny making out with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), so they’ll address the elephant in the room before they go any further.
Although Danny regrets getting tangled up in Phyllis’ scheme, he may beg Christine to understand that she’s still the woman he wants.
Unfortunately, Phyllis isn’t a problem that ever really goes away, so Christine will keep that in mind as she deals with Danny and this lingering Phyllis mess.
